When the time comes to order Iron man, Drive and Rush, we should take the day off the next day because of the crazy adrelanine ( getting the orders or missed them)

agree with you mate. i remember after Frozen pre order Fiasco (in my case) i couldn't fall asleep so if this happen again on Iron Man I will need more than one day off :ohno:

Disappointing, maybe a little... But 3,500 is a sizeable run. The UK retailers aren't selling out of 4k print runs in a hurry... Look at WWZ and True Romance from Entertainment Store.

In fairness to Entertainment Store, WWZ was a 5k run and I'm amazed that hasn't sold through given the quality of that steelbook.

But your point is true regarding 4k runs becoming harder to sell through these days with all the choices we have. Especially on catalogue releases. New release 4k runs are fair enough imo

I had bad gateway this morning just after I hit the complete payment button. My order at kimchi has been sat at receipt of order but no payment.

Tony has now fixed it but huge panic.

You can forget iron man. You ain't getting a copy. Site will crash.

Took me thirty minutes to checkout! I got up at 1:00am when everyone was trying to order. Finally was able to get through with a lenticular. Should've just waited until the morning, I knew it probably wouldn't sell out right away.

KimchiDVD really should take a page from Plain Archive's site - simple, attractive design, and I had zero problems ordering The Wrestler and Melancholia when they went live.

Plain Archive definitely has a better interface, but you can be sure they'll face the same server problems if they ever get as popular as KimchiDVD.

For some reason, I have not had the chance to watch this film- I'm not sure if this is a movie I could see multiple times, once a year, or once every couple of years. I promised myself I would only purchase animated films that were released as steelbooks this year. That said- this exclusive is compiled so beautifully, I could not resist the urge to experience "The Pianist" for the first time as a Kimchi release. I think there is something special in supporting these types of artistic releases.

I also decided to purchase the lenticular version @troll2fan ;)

i have the studiocanal "digibook" of the pianist, and at my first attempt to watch it, i fell asleep after 20 min. :hilarious:

nevertheless i placed an order both for full and lenti slip.
there's some huge difference between being a movie lover and a movie collector i guess. lol

I was telling a friend about this release on FaceTime earlier and how I had got up at 5.30am to place my order....And as I was telling him about Kimchi and this Exclusive he had a really shocked look on his face.

So I asked him why the face?

He replied

"Your buying a film called The Penis".....:hilarious:

Total blind buy for me but I just couldn't resist that awesome looking lenti slip. The film is well reviewed so I hope I like it, but not sure how re watchable it will be.

The Pianist was released in North America in 2009. Best Buy had it.

According to the threads on this site they only ever had a pre-order up on their website but it was never actually released through Best Buy and it just went straight to back-ordered on released date. I can't seem to find any other mention of the USA blu ray online.
