Ninja friends! I do not want to open yet my "The Pianist" release that I got today, but if anyone opens them and can confirm if the Full SlipCover Release has an extra booklet than the Lenticular. The size of the Full SlipCover is thicker and you can see through the opening side a booklet next to the SteelBook case but the Lenticular one does not show a booklet next to the case and it is thinner. Any comments? I thought that both releases were suppose to have the same extras, including the booklet. Here is a picture of both showing the difference in thickness and the booklet inside the Full SlipCover one for reference. Thanks...:ohno:

capricorn - I believe the lenticular is a true slip cover where the SteelBook slides in from the top/bottom. The full slipcover is actually a slipbox where the SteelBook slides in from the side. Check the top/bottom of the lenticular if it is not sealed by the packaging.

Yes, you are right but there is not booklet inside that I can see on the bottom opening and in the Full SlipCover there is a booklet inside that I can see next to the Steel Case through the side opening and both are different on thickness independently of the size of the SlipCovers. Unless the booklet is inside the SteelBook case which based on the thickness of the booklet on the Full SlipCover one, I doubt that is inside. Does anybody else has both releases? THANKS!

Just look in the OP at the different packages. I believe the Full has a book that is not included in the Lenti pack-shot

Thanks for first pictures, all editions looks fantastic, I'm more excited about these releases than Rush, also because without a doubt for me it is much more valuable movie then Rush, can't wait to have it in my hands :scat:

I am not sure what the spelling mistake does to the value of the package, but I am going to open my steelbook and it will surely bother me....is it possible Tony will reprint these slips and send them out?? I thought I read he was planning to do that for the Thor Kimchi stickers as well (though never heard any update on that), so maybe both could be combined to save on shipping....

An "Independence Day" Iron Pack was released a few years back...The first pressed copies were missing the letter "I" on the spine. Corrected versions were later made but the version with the missing letter goes for about 3X more than the corrected version...Take that information for what it's worth

OK because it is Friday on the US West Coast and I am already enjoying my second brew :), let's take a look at the missing "i" issue :)

Here is the nice picture from capricorn:

We all can see there seems to be no "I" between the R and E in ADRIEN BRODY. But look closer and see there is a larger gap between that R and E than between the R and E in KRETSCHMANN. I contend the "I" is there but lost in the crevasse of the lenticular.

I can go along with that theory, but the "I" looks to be missing on the other version too (could be my eyes though!)

An accurate assessment. By the 4th brew, you'll probably be seeing two I's in Adrien. ;)
