Yes, true, but you may recall two of the six you noted were released towards the end of 2015 here in the UK . . . not as separates though but bundled in one release:-

With a standalone steelbook for THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER announced (or as the French cutely title it BERNARD AND BIANCA IN THE LAND OF THE KANGAROOS) - unlike w/ the Amaray release where both RESCUERS adventures were bundled together inside a single Amaray . . .

As for the missing five on Blu-ray (*Amaray / **steelbook) best way to spot them is by using the Amazon list set out for the newly announced BD & DVD collections.
In conclusion: out of the 55 listed in the UK collection to date
- 50 released on Blu-ray in Amaray cases
- 43 already/soon to be released in steelbook cases

Fantastic post! Would be great for us collectors to have a full Disney set- to have a few missing, especially after now getting to the stage where we’re getting the lesser known releases on steelbook, would be a shame. Here’s hoping the line doesn’t take a further hiatus and the releases keep coming....

Your right, they are, just checked the zavvi description and it states "Disc also includes The Rescuers", good spot.

I've ordered all these steels since day one. One hell of a collection

Same here, got a bit behind when they were coming out to quickly but have caught up again. I am glad that we have a few films I am not sure off in the classics collection yet to get, but I will complete the series when Zavvi release them

Pretty much the same. I started (properly) collecting around the time nemo, Aladdin and roger rabbit came out. Got them all on the bay for really good prices and I think my first pre orders were jungle book and little mermaid. Haven’t stopped since. Same with live action, Pixar, Star Wars and marvel. Like you said, One hell of a Disney collection

The live action steels I have mostly but not all as one or two films, into the woods at least are pants in my opinion.
Pixar I am missing theToy Story steels

So this is out the same day as Basil by the looks of it. I wish they had spaced them out a few weeks apart. My wallet is suffering with all these steels AND Red Dead 2.

So those of us who already have the first movie Steelbook AND the US double pack, may as well just swap the discs over and keep the OG movie case with the double movie disc....

Was really hoping @zavvi had a single movie pressing for the sequel on this disc.

There is little point in me bothering with this as it’s purely the case, not the movie & case,I’m essentially paying for,,..urgh

May have to re-think this one

No it was previously TBA release date and then updated to 5th November when release date was known

Look at thread history it only has TBA and then updated to November 5th

I believed you, just annoyed its out the same day as Basil

It was 100% a DIsney release I got 19th from - there was a week between this, Incredibles 2 and Basil as far as I new(which sadl proved to be wrong...nevermind)


Hoping this is a nice steel as am still a little miffed its just a re-press of double movie disc the USA got several years back(the ameray I recently ebayed if am honest, to make room for this one. lol)

Nor that it matters in the slightest but, yes, looks like it'll be the same disc we got three years ago when Disney released a handful of Amarays w/ slipcover art matching case art:-

Seems like we'll have to wait a while longer for a DOWN UNDER standalone Blu-ray . . . we will get one soon though - in the same way that we got standalone VHS and DVD standalones:-

Anyway, looking forward to this one in particular . . . hoping that the three characters, the tree trunk and the grass is embossed . . . potentially one of the best in the Zavvi Disney steelbook collection.
