@Apollon can I ask why your post 1156 was made at 21:55 and opening the group buy 5 minutes early please ?
This caught me and a few other loyal ninja's totally unaware and I totally missed the leather slip group buy.
I did manage to get the one click but this is really unfair when it was for 22:00 hrs.

I have to agree if a time is set then it is a little harsh to open it up early.
maybe better to say GB will open on a certain date but no specific time

And that was with the thread in my face. I was looking down at my phone and it was 4:57PM! I quickly entered the thread and posted.

By hook or crook. I feel for the other people who didn't make it.

Yup exact same thing happened to me. I refreshed the page at 4:56 PM on a whim and it took me a second to realize that the group buy post was even there. Totally unexpected.

Can't wait to see the reveal ! . I kinda looks like there will be a bear paw print or some kind of map on the back to me

I would if i were you, honest collectors getting a what they want is what this site is for... other people use it another way sadly though
I would have ordered the one click but simply can't afford it with a wedding on the horizon, but really had to try for the leather as looks like something different, which is increasingly rare!
good luck on your upcoming wedding

forgot about the group buy going live. woe is me. hopefully not too late to get a lenticular or full slip. leather is a write off.

I put in for a leather late, I'm glad I missed the Group Buy. I'll take my chances ordering direct and not paying Group Buy prices, your better off ordering direct and occasionally missing something IMO in almost every case. I don't count FAC GB's because the shipping is way more expensive direct and without a collectable number below 1,000 it's impossible to get most FAC's. The Man of Steel Exclusive only had a 2,500 copy release if I remember and that didn't sell out for like a week. The only thing that sold out the fist day was the 1-Click. This isn't Marvel, if you have everything in order you for sure can get a lenti and full slip and should have a good shot at a 1-Click or individual leather.

The GB fees are HDN fees. If you dont like it or feel $2 more per steelbook is not worth securing your order ahead of time then you are more than welcome to order directly from the webstore. The forum you are just posting on doesnt run on good wishes and love.
Correct :) And I've caved and did a couple Group Buys and Anvi does a fantastic job, which is one of the reasons so many people sign up for them. I did the Man of Steel Manta GB and Star Wars:TFA Nova Choice GB's and received Mint copies so it is very convenient. Also not having to be at your computer at a specific time to order direct with no guarantee of a copy is nice. But you pay for all those nice things as Anvi said.

I'll gladly put my $2 towards this great forum than to play Russian Roulette with Nova servers or servers alike on pre-order day.

I've been in a couple of gbs on HDN and 5/5 times I've secured the copy I wanted no problem.
Amen, brother!
It isn't so much a fee, as you are paying for a service. It means I don't have to reschedule my life around a steelbook, and/or worry about servers or bad internet connections. A service well worth paying for.

Isn't that what most of us just did to get into the GB?
I really don't see the difference between a GB and a webstore preorder..

Site was slowing down, many missed out, GB opened too early, lots of negative comments. What's exactly the service we pay for? ;)

Decided to refresh early. The site was really bogged down and then I see a thread with 15 posts and 14 replies. It was hard to get the GB page to load. When the "quick reply" box finally shows up, I paste and hit "post reply." I thought everything was OK but either I missed the button or the site did not take it. So after hitting it again I was in the 40s for a leather slip.

It's not that big a deal for me to miss something I've never seen when I also have the opportunity to order direct. It cost me nothing to post in the GB thread and hope for the best.

Good question. Let me give you $2 to solve the problems :) I didnt open the GB early and I see it was opened 5 mins early by the Mod. Here you are competing with few 100 members, while on the store there are thousands. You just used $0.10 of HDN server bandwidth and made me respond and add 5 cents of bandwidth too :p
