Im comfused. Is the "exclusive Version" the former Big Box?

If so, why on earth die they change the Spine colour into black?!? Also no Number anymore?

I Just realized that the pet slip is standing in behind the box in the packshot. It has a transparent spine though. I hope the real pet slip will have the same spine design as the earlier big boxes.

Also another thing regarding the age rating logos:

In the first two waves they were printed on the Big Boxes but removable stickers on the steelbooks. Therefore, their positioning was swapped with the BluRay and UHD Logo for the steelbooks. Otherweise you would have had the BluRay logo randomly placed in the middle of the pet slip Cover after removing the stickers in the right corner.

Now these Packshots here show the Rating Logos for both of the Editions in the right corner. If they are stickers again, it would look really weird after removing them.

It would also be nice if the Big Boxes keep the Numbers, in this case #9 and #10. The Steelbooks didnt come with numbers before, so no need for them there.

Srsly… :cautious: Not. Final. Art. Work.

Definitely in for the non-steel set to go along with the 2001 edition. Hope they do more Kubrick films!

I thought from that picture the steelbook now comes with the set?

I think this is much better idea than those small digipaks before

Oh yeah, think you might be right. I thought it was a digipak… personally I preferred those with this line of art, so I might actually pass on it now.

Both of these two are really quite nice. My problems are the same as the last wave though. The finish and specifically the dark design on a matte finish. It was unnecessarily streaky. The Goodfellas and Apollo were real letdowns.
The art is pretty great again. Don't waste the creative effort with a pish poor finish.
I really hope they decide to add a better quality end coat this time around and accept the criticism.

I love this series of releases, the big box ones, precisely because the bigger box allows larger photos.
Also I had no problems with the CD-sized digipacks, but I see they've listened to the majority, and after re-releasing same first 8 – well, 7 out of 8 – in steelbooks, they're now continuing with the steelbooks right away, both separately and inside the big box.
I'll also miss the glass brick thingies, but just hope they keep the boxes of the matching size and style.
Oh, and I don't care for or want their posters - bought a couple, they're very dull looking. And a chore to get reshipped halfway around the world.

I wonder if the the steelbook inside the collectors set also comes with the PET that comes with the single steelbook. It’s not pictured and would be pretty annoying if it didn’t
