The Signs Of Steelbook Addiction

Thought I, as a caring member of society, would start a thread to help people recognise those first signs of addiction. Feel free to add your own to the list.

The addict will:

1. Start to put his/her iPhone by his/her bed so that he/she can check HDN/eBay on waking

2. Start to use the word emboss far too regularly (or in some cases for the first time)

3. They may ask for opinions about something called 'open or sealed'

4. They appear to become Indiana Jones - always muttering about a search for the Holy Grail

5. They have no money for everyday things yet the postman has pretty much moved in

Just my starter for ten. Anyone else?

When you get mad because you got 2-3 packages the same day after not getting anything for weeks.

When you wonder what it's like to shop at Future Shop and FNAC, and imagine that they must be the most wonderful places with a days-gone-past, black-and-white-noir feel to them.

When you bring files from work to home but spend the evening on steelbook sites instead, and you bring the same files with you the following day.

When you got that tax extension on April 15 but still spend your evenings on sites like this.

When you wonder if you are ever going to find that back slipcover to complete the open SteelBook you picked up here.

Especially the third one! Always a pleasant surprise when the postman turns up.
