Just got home and yes, it was not good! Very forgettable. A very exciting book turned into a very boring movie. It looked like the director wanted one film and the studio wanted another, which is probably just whats happend.
Oh, when I first saw this thought it was maybe a 35th Anniversary edition or a live action remake of the perennial classic.
As it stands:-
- Big fan of horror / thriller films from Norway . . . and indeed films set against a snowy backdrop and to name some of my favourites - DEAD SNOW 1&2, FROZEN, THE INVISIBLE MAN, THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD and THE THING, TROLL HUNTER, THE CHILDREN, MISERY, RARE EXPORTS, PONTYPOOL, 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, LET THE RIGHT ONE IN and of course THE SHINING).
Not a fan of this red inkblot Rorschach test artwork on blotting paper especially when compared to this ---------------------------------------- v
