I'll never understand people wearing gloves to handle steelbooks because what's the point when it's shipped to you with a scratch like this LOL

Literally insane but I guess the aim is to avoid fingerprints showing up while they're showing it off.
You could make the same sort of argument about buying new, what's the point when it's going to get damaged eventually anyway, right?
I don't think it's unreasonable to want something in as nice as possible condition and for it to remain that way.
The scratch is unfortunate, but using gloves is understandable for a keen collector, they don't want fingerprints on them, I would never berate a person for doing so, its not really extra effort to put gloves on if that's what they want to do.
Yep. Got three coming this week from HMV. This, Op and Seven Samurai. All at different stages of payment, packing and delivery.
Lol, you'd think one package would be better but I guess it's just not feasible with multiples from separate dates and pre orders.
So three individual parcels it is.
I very rarely get HMV deliveries on a weekend after payment or shipping. They invariably take up to 3-4 days.
I don't know if that's because of where I live or my location to the main hub.
I won't expect this or any until next Monday/Tuesday.
In fact now I think on it, I've only ever received one item on a Saturday after payment and postage on a Thursday/Friday. 99% of the time it's the following week.
I just got the notification my Oppenheimer is out for delivery. Probably be about 1 before I get it though. Hoping for terminator by Saturday.
Was charged for this, Oppenheimer and Blazing Saddles last night but they haven't shipped yet.
Terminator by Saturday would be amazing. Can't wait to see it after hearing James Cameron has actually listened to fans and kept the grain and included mono audio option etc. Just goes to show the power of the people but also kudos to Jimbo, as I will affectionately call him from now on (or at least until he befriends sloppy AI grain scrubbing tech again)... sounds like him and whoever else worked on it did a stellar job. I'm already looking forward to a premium edition and I'm not one for double dipping all to often.
I thought he told the fans to basically get ****** you basement dwelling ***** and to deal with it... Lol.
In any case I've been looking forward to a Terminator binge but have been holding off for this before I start.
In reality, you're showing some love to a Disney executive's bank account - and probably James Cameron's.
Maybe they'll remember in their Will.
I think the love shown is more for me and my shelf and my pretty things.
I think he may have had a change of heart lmao
Hoping the inevitable adulation and props he/the release will recieve, will swing him to run it back with a new T2 scan & physical release...
