2 arrived in a row from HMV with a dent in a very similar place on the front cover with torn cellophane, so giving Amazon a try - third time lucky.
My copy from HMV had a small dent, on the front near the right side. Same as yours?
Roughly same places in the centre, seems like there’s an issue in their warehouse.

The dent wasn't too bad on my copy, had it been away from the edge it probably could have been smoothed out while yours really took a good whack from something.
You can easily smooth that one out. It's right in the middle. They're the easiest to fix. Credit card off the front steel under the plastic. Soft dish cloth underneath. Smooth out with a metal spoon gently.
It's the one on the sides @sbarker that I think are impossible. Send it back buddy
I ordered my copy from Warnershop and received in a deep box with no damage. I'm going to order steelbooks from them when I can, but they're slow with telling you it's been despatched. I've got about about 6 steelbooks in my collection with dents with Amazon being the worst offenders.
The placement is pretty good for undenting. But that is a super deep dent and I cant imagine it ever being close to 100%.

For me, this is up there with the best UHD transfer of the year it's even more incredible considering the ropey history of Cameron, Lightstorm and Ai enhancement.
Now. They should go and fix T2 and True Lies with the same consideration.
What's mind blowing is I've seen multiple reviews report it's an upscaled 4k... genuinely think someone made a mistake (as it looks far too good) but the consensus is fairly unanimous. It's definitely not an upscale. A reviewer messaged Warner and Lightstorm entertainment for a comment. They confirmed it's taken from a 4k scan not an upscale.
Due diligence.
I'm not surprised. The picture is pretty much reference quality. At least as close as we can get it at home.
