Such an underrated series

Could have been so much more. Open ended somewhat. Wish it hadn't been cancelled. Legendary show from the early 2000s. People so often overlook it.
Much like they did with Chris Carter's Millennium in the late 90s.

Check out a short-lived HBO series called Carnivale. Stahl is really good, and surrounded by an excellent cast and production.

I think the steelbook is ok, not brilliant though.

I really dislike the alleyway neck design on the front though, I think it looks really off compared to the rest of the image. Wasn't sure if it was supposed to be an ammo cartridge at first.

Does anyone know why these releases so rarely seem to feature the original artwork? Is it to do with licensing or avoiding paying royalties to the original artists? Can't believe they genuinely think people would prefer glorified fan art to the original iconic designs

Sometimes licensing and actor likeness fees, but mostly because we all have the original poster art somewhere, and are tired of it, and want something new!

This post won't be popular, but you know inside of you that it's true.
Unless you were born yesterday, and started your collection today, with 2 dollar bin DVDs.

I had this on VHS growing up...

And I want this same art on a 4k steelbook. @Lenny Nero I started collecting over 20 years ago.

I've never seen the above poster art on a steelbook? Have you?
Yeah just buy another version if you don’t like the art. It’s been released about 10 times so you can’t have the same art each time! Some of us like alternate artworks by talented artists

I dunno, have you?

I’m sure you’ll get it one day if it’s not already out there

And my message wasn’t even aimed at you. You hadn’t posted that when I started typing my comment out

Yeah the ending was an opening one, the battle between good and evil will continue through Ben & Sofie and a third and final season would've been perfect but alas.. as many other gems like Flashforward or Terra Nova, they never seen the light again

I haven't mate. Yeah hope so! I would really like Arnies bare chest peaking through his leather jacket on a steel...

Tbh I'm more bothered about the 4k transfer being good, when it comes to this.

For some reason I think Cameron wants his older movies that come out on the 4K format to look like they weren't shot on film. If he's been hands on, I'd guess you're looking at similar video quality to Aliens.

Without all the text I hope.

You know what, that particular original poster wasn't on a steelbook, it was used on DVDs but not even on any BDs, afaik...

There were these steels:

The one on the right is kinda the same. Either way there were good steelbooks before.
