The problem here seems to have been caused by Zavvi offering this pre-order well before the 6pm start time mentioned on this and other sites and it's clear that if the pre-order started at the correct time many people who missed it when they came online at 6.20 pm or for a while thereafter would have secured a copy.
I would expect this to return if Zavvi still maintains their policy of cancelling bulk orders as I imagine there were more than a few of those.

love the steel. hopefully they have it back up before long.

Snoozing does relax and loosen me up quite a bit what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

It depends on demand of a release and complaints made
If its a release they are struggling to sell they don't cancel bulk orders for obvious reasons
I'm pretty sure there was some who bulk ordered and that's any order more than 5 units
Even if they do cancel some of the bulk orders especially very large bulk orders when this stock come back available it wont last long and will sell out just as fast
I would keep an eye on this thread for updates to when its back available to order and also just keep checking Zavvi website
I love the artwork on this especially the back artwork
Next part is to find out if its a matte finish or a gloss finish and does it have any embossing or debossing

I have this on preorder for now, but I'm really not a fan of the almost "fan-made-like" T800 pic on the back, it looks quite different from the actual T800 in the movie. Not sure why they'd do that.

I have the same problem with the back artwork. I might be wrong but I think the graphic originally was part of the promotional imagery for that T2 3D attraction that was at Universal Studios. The teeth in particular just look silly IMHO.
I'm not gaga in love with the artwork but my Kimchi T2 steelbook is looking kinda lonely so I had to get this to keep t company.

Decided to cancel my pre-order. It's a great film... but I cannae help but feel a little underwhelmed by the artwork. Hopefully the flick eventually ends up being part of the Mondo Steelbook series 
Was ??? Still is at universal I went on Monday . This has nothing to do with anything and I don't usually correct people but I just like to tell people I went on holiday there ha ha
Don't think I'm overly bothered about missing out on this. The Play.com Terminator is one of my favourite steelbooks and much prefer the look of it to this one. It it was T3 I'd have been interested though.
Off topic, but I've never gotten a "Live" email nor an "almost sold out" email from Zavvi. Is it something that only Eastern Hemisphere members receive?

Ya got me there. It has been well over a decade since I have been there. I just assumed that our short attention span culture would have forced Universal to replace the attraction with Twilight or some other crap like that by now.
I never got a "Live" email nor did I get an order confirmation email. I had to go check my order history to be sure my order went through.
I also didn't get a live email but I did receive an confirmation email 30 mins after ordering
Only thing I like on this release is the inside artwork. I was fortunate enough to get the Play.com version which in my opinion is vastly superior with its artwork. Just wish they had done a matching T2 release...... I NEED a T2 steelbook

Czech, Indian or Italian Steels for me simply don't compete when a UK version is available.
