HD-Master from a 4k-Transfer in perfect quality ("Arrow-Master") – approved by Director John Carpenter and Director of Photography Dean Cundey.

Audio:
• Restored German DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 track: two missing pieces of dubbing were reconstructed. 2.0 Audio for the first time on BluRay!
• Reconstructed German DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 track: newly „constructed“ from original elements.

* Cinematographer Dean Cundy reveals a sly lighting technique used throughout the film to indicate when a character has become no longer human, "I discussed with John doing a subtle lighting trick to imply who might be 'the thing''".... he explained, “So we were looking for some kind of a subtle way, to say which one of these (men) might be human. You’ll notice there’s always an eye light, we call it, a little gleam in the eye of the actor.”
 
if all of these were in English I'd buy every version, sadly I don't think I can buy any of them as my C at GCSE German won't surfice
 
All 3 look good but I'm happy with my Mondo steel.
This movie seems to have a ton of good editions and I cant afford to get into it haha.
 
I got 2 of the Turbine Mediabooks yesterday. Here a view on the front cover of them. The Thing comes with the synopsis and credits on the backcover.
