Never bought a UHD Club although been tempted many times. What's your top 3 @Noodles ? I've seen the BR & BR 2049 editions those looked super nice, especially the latter

Lol I was joking mate and don't own any of their editions. Was a running joke for a while that they were bootlegs/chinese knock-offs, like many of these new random labels that keep popping up are. Tbf UHD Club have more or less cemented their brand now though and do put out some decent-ish stuff from what I've seen.

The back isn't the best, the small screens are too small to see the details, it's a 3 stage transition, hard to take a good picture but here you go

Oh. That's disappointing, and a weird choice. They should have just changed the image within the central photo frame 3 times, instead of that bizzare setup. Better than the mess they made of the back of the everything everywhere DL, but not by much.

Yeah I assumed it would be the one image.
You know what the images are if you know the film, it's a nice idea but the images are too small to work on a lenti.
EEAAO did come to mind straight away as soon as I removed the j-card

Yep. It's not horrendous, and I can tell what they are, but it's just too small and complex for a lenti imo. EEAAO DL is a worse example of the same attempt. That one really is awful.

I'm curious to see it in person now, but even if it's not the highest quality, I appreciate the idea. Three-transition depth lentis are often difficult to pull off. It's tough to maintain clarity and brightness through all of them. What are some good examples?

Of 3 flip lentis? It has to be something simple to work well. Blufans into the Spiderverse single lenti is a good one, off the top of my head.

So far all 3 mantas triple lenti effects haven’t worked. This, EEAAO and Wandavision. Too blurry. But at least the front looks good here.

But most their normal transitional lentis are decent. As we know. Fight club, American psycho, Matrix (3), across the spiderverse…


One of the best triples I’ve seen, albeit a small transition is the Blufans Zootopia single lenti. The wanted poster changes to 3 images, clear as day with depth. It’s awesome but so subtle. Also Weets The predator WWA lenti. Insanely good triple transition

Nova used a triple lenti of the car moving closer for Death Proof. I really like that one, although admittedly that Truman Show lenti looks a lot more complex.

I think Manta outdid HDz on TDK. Manta's has a totally smooth transition across the image, where HDz's was just a flip back and forth. But in either case, that was just a two transition, not three.

I agree, Mantas is slightly better

Oh yeah I just meant because I was listing off good Manta two transition lentis above but making a point that it wasn’t the case with begins plus it’s an image flip which annoys the hell out of me.
