So you are a Good Samaritan! Personally I think GB hosts are perfectly entitled to earn a buck or two for their work. It doesn’t bother me at all. They make my life easier come preorder day.

Nice to know. Now, would you do it on a regular basis as big as the BluFans or FilmArena GBs? Keep in mind all the late paying members and the returns due to damages not to mention the packing and mailing. Before HDN instituted the current payment system, you had to remind members to send payments which is a headache altogether.

It’s also worth saying that don’t burn your bridges on this site. You may need it someday.

Now I personally get my blufans from Kevin, but I like being on these forums because of the members discussions. I appreciate their GB efforts too. I am fairly new to HDN and the GB system makes sense, if you're not happy with it go to another one.

Yes, I do it for free. I don’t see what’s so hard to understand about that. It’s all done in my spare time when I’m not at work.

You also don’t seem to understand that i can’t give a weeks notice when I’m told a day before the GB is to go live. I can’t force Blufans to give me better information

The point you didnt see with HD Zeta is just an example of a company giving a specific time and date for the pre order and was relating that to your group buy should be informed in a similar manner..

Then you explained that Blufans just told you briefly when to post the group buy, so I guess it is my confusion thinking that you can choose to delay when the GB goes live or you have to post it when Bluefans tells you to?

I get it, they are 2 different companies and it be nice if you still had the power to get the info from Blufans, tell the community accordingly, but still give a weeks time for your members to be up to date as well. Im not sure why I dont see notification emails and if that worked then maybe I could have got the info reasonably?

So any scalpers out there selling the one click and whats the price?...

Also, to HELL with all the specialty steelbook companies constantly catoring releases to mostly Scalpers! Yup, call me Mr. Sour Grape ... Im flying back to Melmac and will enjoy my

Typically where people get confused about how this forum software works is they expect to get an email or alert every time there is a post.

But if you are subscribed to this thread, visit the forum and then leave again, you will get a notification for the very next post. If you don’t visit again for a day or two, you won’t get further alerts until next you visit the thread.

That’s why it’s better to watch the steelbook group buy forum because you get a notification EACH and EVERY time a new thread (or group buy) is listed for sale.

Not sure if this was the problem you were running into.

Maybe my suggestion will help you going forward.

ebay prices dude, I checked it out for ya. I was only kidding that I wanted to sell. These are definite keepers for me. Theres not too much out there I'm afraid. With the 1 copy policy, its pretty hard to scalp these days, unless you got some inside connections. Those copy you see on ebay are just a guy wanting to sell his 1 copy. Nothing wrong with that.

HDN offered Wonder Woman from HD Zeta, yet I didn’t get a copy. Tried to get one and missed out...I didn’t use my status here to demand a copy.

I had to go to eBay and pay 3x retail. Lol

The problem is with the retailer and the dilution of copies across multiple channels. We got a small slice of the pie, and that’s it.

I know how you feel man. I missed out on the Rogue one 1 click because I was banned at the time. Now I'm facing $300 or more plus shipping, all in USD to make matters worse. So I guess the moral of the story can be, if you don't wanna miss one of these Blufans releases, don't snooze, or you'll lose, and don't be sitting in that ban list either. Damn I really wanted that Rogue One, now I'll have to take a giant bite out of that crap sandwich (aka eBay).
