thats disgusting - roughly triple the cost!!

I hope no one buys them at that stupid price and he's left stuck with the steel.

yeah and?
Would you rather have one chance at a steel, or two? regardless of how the internal mechanisms work?

I know I'd rather have a GB option as a 2nd chance rather than no 2nd chance at all.

nothing mate  have a nice day ;)

Probably because it's the only reason why any collector would buy a turd like this.

If this is a turd, then the Zavvi one must be a steaming pile of triceratops poo.

Of all the world wide releases of this steelbook, this is the best one, by a long shot.

I will readily admit that Best Buy and FS have the the edge on the actual steelbook because they added the title on the spine and the debossed title on the front. Personally, I fully intend to open my Kimchi one and swap the steel with a BB debossed one.

But unless you are living in la la land, you know as well as I do that the majority of these will remain sealed, just like many many other high value steels. And if that's true (and it is), then that means what will be on the shelf is the lenticular image (or the quarter slip) and title on the spine of the slip. Also the Thor numbered card with the poster artwork on the back. In hand, it will be weighty and feel valuable (like a heavy book) just like Tangled. I don't think the FS and BB steels will even approach this Kimchi package in terms of value and desirability.

If Blufans can pull off amazing artwork (like Geek Tragedy's front cover and the [already approved] Target exclusive slip Loki image for the back cover)...

HINT HINT, BLUFANS!!!! :naughty: :D

well.. then Blufans could still be King of the Thor 2 steels, especially since we know they will give it full gloss treatment.

Other than that possibility, this Kimchi release is the collector's Thor 2 at the moment.

all kimchi releases are being sold at cost or less

exactly.. le grand bleu 1/4 was selling for 100gbp+ on ebay initially, now its at cost

same will happen here

:hilarious:

after all its a 1$ worth piece of paper added to a massproduced steelbook

Right. So how come in a matter of seconds, I can find more than ten Monsters Uni that were sold for $100+?

Was that listed on Kimchi for $100+? or maybe was it $39.99. I can't remember :ugh:

In other words... you're making stuff up.

yeah damn i forgot the plastic card, the most valuable material on earth

scalpers can make some money in the 1-3 months after release by ripping off desperate collectors, after that period it falls down to rrp or less
