Agreed. This is not a value thing. Looks wise the TW slip is the best slip ever made period!!!

I was telling a friend last night that I thought this was the best slip I'd ever seen.

That goes without saying though. I think anyone in their right mind knows that the Thor 1/4 will be worth more than the TW.

I'm a little slow when it comes to some things, but I even know that.

Just for the record,I would rather have this quarter slip release over the Taiwan release and not basing it on looks of the slip.
In this case because of the unique situation about Kimchi's release...it's all about the value for me.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this value is very beautiful to me lol

No for real though... Ive tried. I promise ive tried. I just dont see what you all see about a bunch of chinese text on these slips. I have the im3 tw. Nice. But i could let it go in 2 seconds. The only tw steel so far that is mine forever is the lion king. As for the thor 2... Im with urbeenjammin. Give me the kimchi package with embossed THOR any day. But i didnt even order the quarter. Lol! I went straaaaaaight for the gorgeous lenti and checked out faster than Thors hammer.

I went to go check my IM3 TW slip, and it doesn't even come close to the Thor 2 Slip. They're not even in the same league to me. You just have to see the Thor 2 one in person to really appreciate it.

I have the Kimchi one ordered, as well, so it's not like I'm only saying this because I didn't get the Kimchi version.

The IM3 is nice, but as RobertJoseph stated, it's not even in the same league.

I went to go check my IM3 TW slip, and it doesn't even come close to the Thor 2 Slip. They're not even in the same league to me.
I have the Kimchi one ordered, as well, so it's not like I'm only saying this because I didn't get the Kimchi version.

I ordered both Kimchi versions and plan to order the BF release too. I'm really looking forward to what BF comes up with. :movie:

IMO...1/4 slip Taiwan, for the case USA, the full lenti slip Kimichi. Now...let's wait for the BF. Many points of view....some collect for the beauty, some for the earnings. Ehheemm.. "value".

If you want to buy one for value, right now the TW is the best value that will go up over time. I don't see the Korean one gaining much more value than where its already at right now. Its already at around $150-$200. I can see the TW one going up to at least $150 or more within the next 12 months.

If you don't have the TW one then you really don't understand what we say when you need to see it to believe it. The slip is not showing its true colors in the photos. It is silver metallic and shines better than any slip to date. It is also embossed. Its stunning to say the least.

I have this one on order too as I love everything about Kimchi releases. I would never miss a Kimchi release. I know this one will be more valuable in the long run. I just think its pretty damn hard to beat something that IMO is the best looking 1/4 slip ever made.

I see that Kimchi is now selling their clear plastic protective sleeves for steelbooks.10 for $10.00 plus shipping.Can we see discounts for bulk ordering.Maybe a discount for 100 pieces instead of just 10.More than $1.00 each for these sleeves seem a tad high.

I believe so.I'm sure its the same as the free one sent with an order placed.We mentioned possibly them making it available in the future as a sale item and here it is.Awesome now just hopefully the price is negotiable

Absolutely gorgeous! Probably the most fantastic lenti so far!



And about the complaints on number of copies... we're collectors and I'm sure that everybody here has lost a limited edition sometime in their lives. I did.

But this time, it's pretty clear to me that those members that accompanied this thread and were willing to wake up very early got their copies.

Now, let's stop the whinning and enjoy these beautiful pieces of art (cause Kimchi steels are the best ones out there ).

Protect entire steel and spine as well.

And very nice they are too, I had one with my Tangled and they have a small kimchidvd logo at the bottom and they fully enclose the steel.
