For every steelbook pre-ordered,they included a free full transparent slipcover.It's noted and illustrated up on top of the stock photos with OP.The photo you are seeing is from the exclusive release and it was opened.Yes, I open all of my steels in my collection.And I inserted the steelbook inside the FREE transparent slipcover.

Not with this specific one, but I tried it with their T2 limited edition. It doesn't work. It's really designed to fit over steel and slip...so I used it with my kimchi Monsters U. Hope this helps.

My 1/4 slip and lenticular copies arrived in perfect condition!

Just picked mine up from the Post Office today. The lenticular is better than I thought it would be, the lightning effect is too sweet. 1/4 slip is nice, not as nice as the Taiwan one, but very nice nonetheless.

Good Lord! Someone just paid $181.00 for one of the lenticular version of this!! Do you all think that the price & interest will drop on these when the blufans version is on sale? I sort of regret not getting one of these but am happy with my best buy & looking forward to the blufans.

I think it might go up from here as extras will soon be in the hands of collector's leaving less copies to go on sale.

I was watching the same auction and was surprised it didn't go higher. Perhaps a little patience may pay off for you. Demand is quite high around release date and I think desperation aids in bloating the values. Avatar 3D Korea was selling around the same price soon after release albeit it had a smaller print run. Prices have now stabilized and quite lower than the high.

as time passes i believe the demand for a sealed copy would only go up... in a year, how many total out of this 1k print run would honestly still be sealed and how many collectors would honestly let their copy go ? imo not many...

Once you see the front of the steelbook with the clear slipcover, you wonder how the front wasn't originally designed with the lightning and the movie title.
