The plane scenes reek of such deja vu, I thought this was another remake of a French movie. They 'borrowed' the concept from Amour & Turbulences starring a waifish Ludivine Sagnier with magical fairy-like beauty, but couldn't sustain the majority of the film being set just on a plane, so threw in their daughter and some convoluted plan of breaking her up.
I am glad to see Clooney and especially Julia Roberts nonetheless.

As said before, was nice to see George Clooney again, and Julia Roberts to an extent, and the best scenes are with them, but otherwise it's a very predictable movie, although that's not why one watches these. Basically I'm with the grumpy Clooney's character in the beginning, who said 'why Bali, when there's Hawaii, and it's in 'America'', plus it was also filmed in Australia, so... and I know for a fact you get tired of these tropics, beaches, and rains.
