Given the option, I'll take our dual bossing tbh. This colour pallet wasn't in dire need of gloss imo, I would have liked spot gloss on the non dirty white parts though.
Nothing is going on. It's just 2 people's opinions on the quality of the glossy finish.
I've just bought a US copy from ebay before the prices go up any further.
That's a copy of both versions now so will decide which to keep with both in hand.
Evidently they glossed over the bossed.
Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I don't really care for full gloss. Would much rather have spot gloss, especially if there is no embossing.

shame no gloss like USA but this looks pretty damn good with the embossing. excited to see this in hand.
It is a bit of a shame, I'd have liked spot gloss on the non white sections, but (like andor) I'll take a good zero finish and heavy embossing over flat and glossy tbh.
I love gloss but my general outlook is anything but streaky is the minimum standard I want to see.
In this case the bossed steel is probably preferable over a bad flat gloss but I think it's a shame they didn't bring both as that would have been ideal and this has to be annoying for fans outside Europe. Don't hold me to this but I think I prefer different regions changing the design noticeably rather than just opting for different finishes.
In hand this looks really good, don’t mind about the lack of gloss on this one as the overall package looks great.

Yeah I’m sorry but I think some of you are hugely in denial about this. And I get it. Especially when there’s a better version from another country at a higher price and completely sold out and we didn’t know how ours was going to turn out, assuming it’s the same. its a tough pill to swallow but this looks so washed out and that horrible metallic matte look. This is nothing like when the US get the glossy MCU tv series steels and ours aren’t. They actually look vivid and bright over here.

Just got home and unwrapped my copy. It's a winner in my book. Clean shiny finish looks good and kinda goes right with a western theme (makes the badge look cool too). Bossing gives it the edge over the US version without a doubt for me. Lovely steelbook
Denial? I haven't even seen a copy in hand to pretend it's good yet!
It's showing as Sold Out at HMV, and was yesterday too, before I went with Amazon Italy. I've bought from them before and never had an issue with anything getting to me in the states, so it's all good.
Perhaps you have stock in HMV? j/k

Each to their own mate but I like it, a bit of spot gloss would have made it perfect but let’s face it, the chances of them getting it spot on are always slim.
I like the colours a bit washed out as it’s a western after all, not a shiny Sci-Fi movie so, for me it works.
What I found really interesting is that if you have this one and the previous steel the back of this one and the front of the old one match up nicely
