What a waste of a pet though. Literally adds nothing for me.. no title, or design elements, just credits and logos.. yuck. I'll happily store that one away with my jcards, where it belongs.

You're not wrong something on the PET would of been nice but the silver lining is no age rating stickers on the steel so I'll take what I can get

That looks awful, this looked like it was a perfect design for a glossy finish or at least spot gloss.

Yep, and I’ll add that a nice simple zero finish would’ve worked perfectly with that design with those colors.

Why take the cheap route on such an iconic movie? Looks terrible, can't see a standard amaray option though

HMV won't let me cancel because it's stuck in the middle of a multiple purchase order.

I'm going to make room for an ugly finish corner on my shelf, put it with some others so it won't get lonely.

Cancelled. Went to it see in the cinema recently so can be patient & hopefully get a nicer bells & whistles 30th anniversary "smack ed" edition in 18 months time...

Left it too late to cancel. Turns out this steel doesn't have a pet slip, but a card o-ring

I can't decide if this is better or worse

Yep, i also wasn't able to cancel lol the Criterion transfer was fantastic. Tbh, if the steel is as bad as it looks, I'll probably just watch it again and get rid.

Also, no new extras. They're all lifted from the previous dvd release from way back... I know it never specified anything new, that was just my hope/expectation.
