Really nice steel from ES....
Spot Glossed, Debossed title. And the back has a nice sheen to it. Like a Zero finish.
Also if you tilt the back towards the light the eyes glow...:D

@earthscope OH MY NINJA!!! :jawdrop: I just ruined my laptop screen from ALL of my excitement!!! :D

Seriously though, WOW!!! :woot: Thanks for the EPIC pics my friend! :notworthy: This Steel is a fu**ing beauty!

Thanks for the awesome pics.

It's the same as the HK version then-debossed title. It was supposed to be embossed according to ES.

This looks perfect. Can't wait for mine. Although I can't open it until Xmas!!!!! :(

Does the disc work in a non 3D player?

I don't have a non 3D player buddy. ;) And the discs are going to a friend anyway as I have the US release and will put the 2D & 3D IMAX discs in this steel...:p:D

Also not at home now so I can't check the Tracks, subs for you... @bradipolpo

If your IMAX footage fills your TV, then it is not the full IMAX frame as the IMAX aspect ratio is 1.43:1 which is closer to the old square TVs.

IMAX is overrated for home systems as both Cinemascope and IMAX have more than enough resolution for your 1080p TV. That is how they are selling everyone on the new 4k format.

However, some people like or don't like black bars, so it's easy to have the notion that you are getting more picture, with more resolution. You really can't have both.

I got the US 3D version (big up to @cooey) and I found that it switched between THREE ratios

2:40:1 for the regular scenes
The IMAX footage switched between 1.85:1 (I have my TV set on overscan) and 2.00:1 which was weird. Amazing quality but I prefer the IMAX scenes to be scene specific like Tron Legacy and Hunger Games : Catching Fire and not random shots
