in total 7 Transformers movies, an 8th movie will be released next year

7 live action. 5 Michael Bay films, Bumblebee, and this one. This acts as a stand alone sequel to Bumblebee. Both of these films happen before the events of the original 5 films, but they all contradict each other's timelines in some way or another.
