Plot: Set in 1994, Rise of the Beasts will introduce the Maximals and the Predacons, while also introducing the Terrorcons. This will also serve as an origin story for Optimus Prime and how he became the leader of the Autobots.

YES, just got back from seeing, true summer popcorn flick like I enjoyed in the eighties, loved it!

Not a minute has passed during this movie, that I didn't roll my eyes, or laugh out loud at another stupidity, absurdity, or a dumb pompous phrase. This is definitely the worst Transformers movie.

The CGI animation of the robots themselves is more defined, less of an incoherent mesh, but that cannot help this extremely stupid story. Writers like this deserve to starve.

Human actors have no redeeming qualities at all, they're just 'diverse', and feels like that was the only checkmark on the casting sheet - no talent or charisma required.

Only good part was with Bumblebee and LL Cool J song Mama Said Knock You Out, and a credits scene setting up a franchise crossover...
