Would it of been that hard to create something like this...so they'd match

Replace the two with Sam and Quorra and give it a "upgraded" look like that found in the film.

Zavvi is just the retailer. They aren't deciding or approving squat. Don't you get that yet?

You must not have worked in retail as a buyer especially in a Film and Music shop to understand how a release happens and when the likes of artwork and final release details are known fully to a retailer

The film studio distributor often don't even know the final release details when releasing a product until sometimes just before release as factors that can affect a release can often change the content or packaging at the last moment

To be fair, it's a bit difficult sometimes to remain courteous when you end up with past after post from the Zavvi bashing brigade who seem to think they know the ins and outs of how retailer exclusives work, even though they're normally wrong.

I don't know why you guys defend Zavvi so relentlessly when all the evidence suggests you are completely wrong . I don't want to clutter up this thread any more as it relates to Zavvi's steelbooks in general rather than just this Tron release, so I'll refer you to my main post at https://www.hidefninja.com/community/threads/zavvi-retailer-chat-europe.22531/page-247#post-1393788 and if this same old argument keeps cropping up I'll simply refer back to it to save me typing out the same counter-argument another 100 times :banghead:.

I may be in the minority but the original Tron for me has dated terribly, so I've never bothered with any of the home video releases but really enjoyed Tron legacy, and I quite like the steelbook art, might grab a copy. I've not seen the 3D version either so getting both versions included at that price it makes it even more tempting...are they separate disks?

If your sitting on the fence about this one my advice would be to order it and then think about it later.

This will sell out, especially as they are making a 3rd one.

I think this actually looks really nice! The cover represents the film well, and looks quite futuristic.

At £17.99 for a 2 disc from Zavvi, you can't really complain can you? Think I'll be buying this one!

Not to mention that one of those discs is 3D... £18 for a steelbook with both 2D and 3D versions of the film on separate discs is a great price IMO.
