Troy was originally released as a Media Markt exclusive, but was later made available at amazon.de for purchase.

It was rumored that the Media Markt stores lost their exclusivity of certain steelbooks after a certain amount of time.

I ordered Troja from amazon.de recently. I'm hoping it arrives safely, with my others. Good movie.

If it arrives with a bit of shelf wear at the top front edges, don't worry too much - that's pretty common with these steelbooks that used to be Media Markt exclusives.

As long as it's dent free, I can live with the corner wear. Kind of sucks that they have the corner wear (like my 300 & Dark Knight), but oh well.

i think the same , the complate art work is nicer. that's really nice when they can work it out some how. for example the war of the worlds from germany is has avary small blu banner or minority report from the uk, i like the blu banner style that one has.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but is this steelbook rare as I can't find it anyway other than on amazon de. There is only one company that will ship to uk but they want EUR 27 for it used !

These aren't that hard to find than other older MM exclusives
I guess it is possible to get one sealed copy for ~25€ (1st release MM excl.) respectively ~15€ (2nd release amazon excl.)

What's the difference between the two versions?

I love this Steelbook but with the printed back I think the best version is the amazon.ca which is identical except for different inner and also has back artwork too.
