Seriously chilling and thoughtful film. I particulalry like how it tips a respectful nod to Poltergeist .
Along with Dead Ringers it's right up there with David Cronenberg's best.

As an aside, I still remember the conversation with Mum the day after she's stayed up late to watch it on tv: That film, it kept me awake last nigth!
You didn't like it then?
No, it was great - just really weird, and it stays in your head.

That about sums it up, doesn't it - like a lot of Cronenberg's work - it stays in your head - long after you've watched it.

Anyhow, enough meandering. I've got my pre-order in; couldn't miss out on this.

I ordered very early with AmazonUK it was at that time £35.87 and it dropped in price since I ordered
My order has at the moment £25.88 and that includes FREE Super Saver Delivery

Zavvi have at the moment £23.99 but with Arrow Video Digipacks I avoid Zavvi as they use jiffy bags and you risk it arriving not in mint condition

Amazon packaging for DigiPacks are lot better

I Pre-ordered mine on Arrow Films cost me £27.99 then i got double points so decided to purchase another one because im sure it will sell out like hot cakes cost me £5.99.
i have never seen this movie so its a blind buy but the packaging looks amazing cant wait to see the final product and these look like art shots. going to keep my 2nd sealed copy to sell on in the future as this is limited to 3000 copies.
hopefully Arrow will release this early as got my Society a month early from them. I would recommend you purchasing from arrow direct.

Zavvi are fine if its a standard case or with a slipcover and most steelbooks
With Digipacks and box sets though they are hit and miss what condition they will arrive in
If a digipack or box set can fit in a jiffy bag its a risk using Zavvi it might arrive ok or dented or worse

When a box set is to big for a jiffy bag your ok using Zavvi as then they use a box

I look in advance to see what size a box set is going to be if its a size I know wont fit in a jiffy bag then I will use Zavvi if they are cheaper if not I order direct from Arrow or Amazon if they are cheaper

I hate this pre-order culture quite honestly but I guess I have no choice if I want one - looks too good to pass up and I'm sure it will sell out! :emb:
