If steelbook will be better than FA´s I could be in, but for now FAC trilogy wea steelbooks are winners. Besides it´s probably the weakest part of the trilogy unfortunately, I watched it few days ago and the flick is really slow and it don´t go well with its title...when something has WAR in the title I expect something more ferocious

Not sure I liked this movie enough to buy a premium steel. 2nd installment was the best for me. I'm grabbing HMV's to rewatch it anyway, so doubt I'll go premium

I hope it matched my Kimchi Lenti of Dawn... it could have more depth but it’s one of my favorites! The transition between the different apes was done really well. I haven’t seen an announcement from them so I’ll likely go with this.

Like many others here I definitely would want to see the first two announced before considering this! At the minute FAC WEA is definitely the way to go I'm afraid!

Hmm yeah, it's kinda pointless unless they release the other two films. That being said, I look forward to seeing how this turns out!

Just a guess because I know nothing about this kind of stuff, but with the feedback here (and possibly from other forums...where the feedback would probably be similar) they would be smart to change their minds and not do this after all. Which may be why you haven't heard anything new on this.

Unless they're planning to release the others, then yeah... cancelling this would definitely be a smart decision. I doubt I'd pick them up even if they did do all three films though to be honest... Zavvi's upcoming trilogy steel will be good enough for me.

I think also that it was a smart move on Manta's part to basically "float" the idea to get an idea as to whether this would be well received and now they probably have their answer.

This is something that I have felt for the last decade or so that maybe movie studios should do before they decide to greenlight a movie with a $200 million budget ($200 million used as an example...I'm not saying all movies that bomb hard have that kind of budget or that my examples even had a budget that large).
Float the idea to the public. Like hey "would enough people be interested in seeing a big budget drab looking movie called "Jack The Giant Slayer?"

For a lot of movies people decide as soon as they are announced that they won't be interested in seeing such a film no matter how much is spent on it.
