Well, Best Buy finally came through for me. All of my LotR steelbooks are in pristine shape with no defects. wheeww! Thank you Best Buy.
Also they had a whole bunch of steelbooks and they all looked in real good shape too. See...

All the little rows were just about filled, like nobody had bought any.

If that happens I will be making a Best Buy Run and grab up some those others that I didn't get today, especially Sucker Punch.

LOL AcId, all I wanted to do was to put HDN on the US steelbook map by posting the entire wave before its release date (with the gracious support of one very generous BB contact). But I am glad I was able to inspire a fellow collector or two

I will say it again (sorry if this is beating a dead horse here) this "wave" is really a test run for the new US G2 line to work out the kinks from soup to nuts or from factory to shelf. And the "surprise" price reduction might very well be a "thank you" gesture from BB. So if you can afford it and don't have any one of these titles on blu-ray, why not pick the steelbook edition? At under $10, it is, as they say, a no-brainer

Question: With rewards, do you need your actual receipts for the price reduction refunds? The only reason I ask, is I went to return some SBs with defects but my wife had tore up my receipt (it was next to her pile while balancing checkbook ). So, we taped it together best we could and took it in. The CS lady laughed and said we can just pull it up with you rewards account. Then she printed me out a new receipt. This was a different store even.

With some of the price matches, exchanges and returns I've done, some receipts have multiple copies stapled together. It would be nice if they could just look up my account and refund the $$$.
