Yes, just tell her/him you'd bought those items within the last 2 weeks that just recently got a price reduction (might want to take the flyer in case that CS rep is unaware of the sale).

It really depends on the location of the store and the movie and steelbook collectors in that area. In one store I saw 0 copies of Hangover (had 15 copies and were soldout) but with at least 10 copies of each LOTR while at another location, there were over 10 copies of Hangover and less than 5 copies of LOTR-TTT and LOTR-ROTF with 0 copies of LOTR-FOTR. If you are a Rewards member, shipping is free so it might be better off buying those missing from your local store online.

And I think the price drop is great. It will help a lot in introducing the masses to Steelbooks, especially with BB and TDK essentially being $5 bucks when you account for the movie cash. Hopefully these move well and us US folks can look forward to an eventual dedicated Steelbook section in the media department of BBY stores.

I got into Steelbooks late in the game. The SB that caught my eye was the "Salt" SB.By the time I got to my local BB,they had been sold out for 2 day's.
A couple of week's later,I was at same BB,and had to move a cart out of the way to get a a title and noticed a "Salt" steelie on the cart.I was pysched Next steelie was "Scarface", "POTC; Darker Tides","Underworld;Awakening" and "Ghost Rider 2"
Now because of this wave,I have "V","Book" (2 of which I really wanted,but could not afford at collector's price's) "BB" and "TDK",at price's that are very easy on the wallet
I wish I had gotten into them earlier, I lust bad for the "OO7" Steelie's

I would say "Mint" copies of Gran Torino and all the LOTRs. I've been to 5-6 BBs since last Tuesday and I have found 1 copy of GT without an imperfection. Same with the LOTRs. I've returned & exchanged quite a bit looking for the perfect ones, and it almost seems like an impossible task. I think i have them all mint now, but that's without taking them out of the shrinkwarp.

Btw, with ash's hints and s I started getting nervous they were bringing back U&S on Sunday making these $9.99 with trade-in. One, no more DVDs I want to trade-in. Two, I would have to take all the SBs back to do the U&S.

Glad they just dropped the price.

Definitely agree on GT mint being the rarest. Then again, I guess the cover being nearly all black just makes it more susceptible to little nicks and scratches being more noticeable.

I did see a few completely MANGLED copies of TDK and Hangover on the floor at my local BB today. Next time I go back maybe I'll ask CS if they can sell it to me at a discount LOL.

Yes, my $416 purchase of 20 SB's on Saturday dropped $85 by last Sunday, and it looks like another $100 or more after this Sunday. This is totally cool, and agree that another Book of Eli might be in my future.

Also IAM, these might make good SB modification candidates if you can part them out!

BTW, do we know whether these $5 Dark Knight Rises coupons will work overseas?

Do we know if the buy back program is starting up again? Imagine if they do, you could get all of these discs for $5! Does anyone know if the June 3rd ad makes any mention of this?

WOW loving that the price is dropping Sunday, guess I'll make a trip now. Just got all mine in the mail. All 10 I might add. Without ANY imperfections, perfect, even the LOTR set. Hope BB keeps this up year long.

God damn, pice drop sucks for those who just paid $22.50 per title in the group buy. Luckily the two I asked for seem to be the hardest to get - Book of Eli and Gran Torino.

$10 steelbooks with a movie is just incredible!
