If the Dark knight was on this wave i would have been propper gutted

The artwork up on Play.com is just temporary and is in no way indicative of the final designs.

We just like to have something up on site so we aren't displaying the grey tombstones in search results.

Having just released the Jumbo BB/TDK, they'll have to give it a while. A fortnight maybe.

Where did Batman come from?? Okay so Matrix, BR and Seven are in the mix but artwork is yet to be guaranteed, also the jumbo has just been released in the UK. I suspect that's why BB and TDK aren't here. Think they'll do a DKR and that's all, maybe a Trilogy a little down the line.

Denial. It's inevitable. The most popular Steelbooks from their Japan wave, I can see the pound signs in their eyes as I type this.

They would be daft to announce new Batman steelbooks whilst still trying to offload that trashy jumbo steelbook.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 3 individual steelbooks announced for DKR's release though.

One film I hope does get released here is Gran Torino. The BB release is trash with it's lack of inside art and paint issues and the Japanese version is just too damn expensive. The Japan version at a reasonable price would do nicely.

I think this has already been mentioned in the separate threads for each steelbook, but I thought it'd be worth mentioning in here too - Placeholders are now up on Play... LINK.

Also, Play have titled them "Special Edition" rather than Premium Edition... I don't know if that makes a difference to anyone.

Hmm the release dates of these are pretty irrelevant to me as I won't be buying any of them anyway, only Inception if it's white would tempt me.
