What are your TOP TEN FILMS of 2015?

It was a great year in movies!!!
In order from 1 to 10, what were the best (or your favorite) films you saw this year?

[2015 isn’t over yet and some pretty great looking movies are still coming out. So feel free to come back and edit your post if you happen to watch something new!]

I'll go with the german release date in 2015, so it would be...

1. Goodnight Mommy
2. Kingsman: The Secret Service
3. Birdman
4. The Imitation Game
5. John Wick
6. Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation
7. Ant-Man
8. Tomorrowland
9. Chappie
10. Spy

Had a surprisingly great time with SPY, ANT-MAN was also a pleasent surprise, so was TOMORROWLAND (full of many fresh ideas, loved that). Also likes SPECTRE, but was kind of disappointed by STAR WARS, MAD MAX and FURIOUS 7. They were all nice to look at, but had to many flaws in my opinion.

German release dates

01. John Wick
02. Avengers: Age Of Ultron
03. Mad Max: Fury Road
04. Ant-Man
05. The Man From UNCLE
06. Kingsman: The Secret Service
07. Fast & Furious 7
08. Black Mass
09. Terminator Genisys
10. Jurassic World

1- Mad Max: Fury Road
2- Ex_Machina
3- The Martian
4- It Follows
5- Crimson Peak
6- The Babadook
7- The Visit
8- Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
9- Sicario
10- Bridge of Spies

Honorific Mentions
- Avengers: Age of Ultron
- Chappie
- Ant-Man
- Star Wars: The Force Awakens
- Tomorrowland

I should preference that my top ten list are movies that I enjoyed the most. How I rate the movie versus how I enjoy the movies can be two different things. (i.e. I thought Carol was one of the best made/acted movies of the year, but I did not necessarily enjoy it enough to mark it above any of the below movies)

1. Mad Max Fury Road
2. Steve Jobs
3. The Revenant
4. Star Wars: The Force Awakens
5. Sicario
6. The Martian
7. Beasts of No Nation
8. Creed
9. Trainwreck
10. Anomalisa

Honorable Mention: Ex Machina, MacBeth, Spotlight

Still haven't seen many other movies, so this list may change eventually.

I'm finding it harder and harder to separate the two. My enjoyment of a film tends to completely effect my rating of it these days.

Great Lists everyone!
Hopefully more members will add to it soon now that the year is over! It really helps for some films that maybe not everyone has seen yet and would encourage them to do so!

Happy New Year. Bring on 2016 Films!

Great Top 10s everyone... some interesting choices. I'll post mine soon! Just got a few more films I want to see before making up my mind. :)

By the way, I really recommend using a site called Letterboxd to log and rate the films you watch... makes it a lot easier to track what you've seen throughout the year, and you can also create lists for Top 10s etc. Here's my profile if you'd like to see how they look.

1. Avengers: Age of Ultron
2. Ant-Man
3. Inside Out
4. Jurassic World
5. Mad Max Fury Road
6. Mission Impossible Rogue Nation
7. Cinderella
8. Heart Attack
9. I Fine, Thank You, Love You
10. Hitman Agent 47

I realized I did not watch a lot of movies in 2015. the ones I really love are my top 2.

1. Mad Max: Fury Road
2. Star wars: The Force Awakens
3. The Martian
4. It Follows
5. Sicario
6. Kingsman: The Secret Service
7. Ex_Machina
8. Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
9. Jurassic World
10. Ant-Man

I still haven't seen Bridge Of Spies, Creed, The Gift, Carol, Room, Beasts Of No Nation, Steve Jobs, The Walk, Selma, Spotlight, The Hateful Eight, Revenant...

Here's my Top 10, based on UK cinema release dates...
  1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  2. Whiplash
  3. Enemy
  4. Predestination
  5. Kingsman: The Secret Service
  6. Ex Machina
  7. Mad Max: Fury Road
  8. Straight Outta Compton
  9. The Martian
  10. Lost River
I imagine a few may switch positions once I've rewatched them, and I struggled with #10 for a while as there were some other strong contenders, but Lost River's soundtrack just tipped it for me.

P.S. A lot of the films you guys have listed in your 2015 Top 10 will be in my 2016 list, since that's when they're released in the UK.
