Who here has a projector in their setup?

Tron Legacy, a screenshot favourite. Pure Eye-candy and projector porn.
Still need to work out the settings on my camera, a little too dark ATM.

^^^^ nice screen shots blu-devil. Im planning on getting a 92" fixed frame screen + Viewsonic pro8200 projector soon. I just can't decide on which to screen to get. Thinking Elite Sable right now. What kind of screen are you running blu-devil?

I have some ambient light pouring in during the day so Im thinking maybe a grey screen over white but Im just not sure right now on the screen.

A 92" manual pull down, tho I keep it down to avoid creasing. I did some tweaking and the contrast is unbelievably good considering it's a 2006 projector. Many forums are stating that the pictures produced are better than many newer models, I can well believe that statement. When I move back to Europe I will be investing in a 120" fixed screen. I will also get a 3D projector, but probably keep this for 2D viewing. Let me know how you get on with your purchase and upload some screenshots for me to enjoy.

yeah some of the newer PJ's albeit up to par in tech are very lacking in contrast and colour presentation making the picture from them not so great.

Ill be sure to post screen shots when i get my setup. Should be in the next few months. I wish I could get a bigger screen but space is limited where this is going up and any bigger and I think it might get to big for the room.

Right now I just need to figure out which screen to get. Im leaning towards a 92" or 100" Draper Accuscreen in grey.

I have a Samsung SP-A600 for 1 year and I really enjoy it.
I think the next projector I'll buy will be a cheap full HD 3D, such as the BenQ W1070, the best value for money projector in my opinion.

I have a Benq W9000 and a 106" screen. I'm very happy with the performance and I'm in on my third lightbulb. My only complaint is that it's a bit loud and lacks 3D.

Yeah, ours is a bit loud too (different brand), but it's several years old. Do they make quieter ones now (ours is from 2005 or so, so hopefully they've made some improvements, I've not looked for these in a long time...

I have an Mitsubishi MC4900 for a few years now on a 192 inch custom built white wall ;). Absolutely love it for movies and MW2 and BF3 on it.

Way to resurrect an old post pmacs :)

192 inch...NIIIICE :D
I project onto a custom painted wall @ 140". Would go bigger but the speakers would get in the way then. I have an Optoma Projector forget the model # at the moment, but it does the job for us. I don't think I could ever go back to a standard TV size again, too spoiled.

I have the Epson 8350 with 110" EliteScreen. The Epson was the best choice for me because I couldn't mount it in the exact middle of the room. The lens shift was the deciding factor, since I feared keystoning with other projector. I really wanted the Panasonic 4000, but worried about placement. I have been happy with this set-up for a couple of years now, but will upgrade the projector if I get a true home theater room in the next house.

Big Daddy that exactly what I'm working towards. Looks great. I won't be able to have a dedicated theater room so I'm saving for black out blinds w/ remote and tab electric screen to roll down in front of my tv

I upgraded from an epson to a benq W600+ in 2011 and I'm using a 100" screen. I've had no issues with it, huge improvement over the epson, colors and contrast look very good and it's even better when using 3D.

I bought a Sony 4k projector three months ago, ita perforence blew my 600M KURO away, even playback full HD.
It is my first projector, in any resolution.

Since I am new here I am not allowed to post any photo or ultralink.
