Looks like McNiven will just do the same cover over and over again, but with costume variations... though I'm wondering what his "premierer" variant is?!? Maybe something with a special finish (chrome, lenticular, etc.). Expect the McFarlane covers to go for $500-$1000 right out of the gate. I'm sure the rest of the bunch with anywhere under $100.

Here's a couple of the McNiven variants (Age of Apocalypse costume + brown/tan costume) plus the Yu one:

The upcoming Wolverine #1 is blowing up with variants and retailer exclusives!

The IGComicstore exclusives by Scott Williams just went live and it's awesome! Very Jim Lee-esque. It's available in a trade/virgin combo pack and sketch virgin variant here! I attached the trade one below. They're also selling a majority of the variant covers including the super-limited Jim Lee ones.

Big Time Collectibles is selling a wicked exclusive with art by Kael Ngu that plays homage John Buscema's cover of Wolverine #1 from 1988. It's available in trade and virgin variants as well as a sketch variant that's exclusive to only 100 copies that you can only buy if you purchased the combo pack of the other two. I attached the trade version below. Check them out here! They're also selling most of the variants for #1.

Frankie's Comics has three different exclusives. The first two are by Clayton Crain -- a trade variant with masked Wolverine and an unmasked virgin variant. Those are available right now. The third is a homage to Incredible Hulk #181 and has art by Tyler Kirkham. That one is available later today at 5pm CST. I've attached all three down below. Check them out here!

The Comic Tom 101 subscription box will have an exclusive Wolverine #1 featuring art by InHyuk Lee. The cover has Wolverine battling Old Man Logan and it's only available through the subscription box here. Seems like good value if you're a collector. I attached the variant below.

@Wreck @kryptonite

You guys know of any other retailers doing exclusives?

That kirkham comic cover is great. But wow (I should have known) but that Jim Lee art (didnt realize it was him, as the art only just now popped up in my face) but I had a trading cart of that exact image when i was a kid and freakin loved it. NEver took the time then to know it was jim lee. ha. Makes me think I need that .... but its more expensive. ughhhhh

Man, I'm mighty tempted to get that Jim Lee variant, too. I have that exact card that you're talking about! I just flipped through that Wolverine card set the other day. And I hear ya about that Ngu sketch variant. I'd buy it if I had purchased the trade/virgin combo, but I only purchased the trade variant, so now I'm disqualified from purchasing it... which royally blows.

A couple new variants announced!

First up, The Comic Mint will have a variant by Mike Mayhew that's limited to 180 copies and features a recreation of a very famous Wolverine moment. I uploaded it below.

Then there's the C2E2 variant that Slab City is selling with art by Gerald Parel. Attached below!

that is a little underwhelming for Mike Mayhew ... love his work but ... :confused:

Plus it's apparently only available as a CGC copy for $150. Ugh, no thanks. I was going to get it 'cause I do kinda like it, but not for that price.

Here's the new Fan Expo exclusive by Gabrielle Del'Otto:

It can be pre-ordered at the Fan Expo store HERE. @Wreck, you'd be interested to know that they're selling the coloured Jim Lee variant through their store for only $50! :OMG: :thanks:
