I’m a huge marvel fan and batman for DC. And that’s fine that you’ve found them underwhelming. I have in some instances and not in others. But for me, im not biased so if I love a franchise or the first few films of something, If the next is bad I’ll admit it’s bad unlike some people.
That’s what winds me up about this community. People will buy any Rubbish collectors edition, limited edition, steelbook etc etc etc because they love that franchise/ character/ film even if the new product is poor. Plus it just gives the wrong impression to whoever made that product to just keep releasing the same sh!t with different (and in most cases worse) art.
the whole “it’s this so I need to buy it” is poor imo. Just weird

however, he’s been used too much with the whole magneto scenario. He’s good, oh he’s bad, oh he’s good again, oh he’s really bad (1st avengers film), nope he’s really good agin now, oops back to bad, nahhhh back to good. It got a bit boring. Obviously his death hit hard but it kinda had to happen
Plus he’s not really a villain villain to me purely because of the constant switching. He’s also a hero.
But I do like Loki. He’s one of the better ones below thanos but still nothing amazing
This is one of the reasons I don't buy steel/collectors editions for franchises. I could love the first and second film, but the third could suck and then I'm left with an incomplete collection and that just annoys me.
my only contradiction in what I said is I do own all the marvel films (as well as the zavvi Disney animation collection but tbh I love all those films and steels). For continuity purposes and even the poor ones (Thor 2 etc) I can still watch when doing the whole thing. but I don’t own every version for those films. I don’t mind buying multiples but I won’t just buy something because it’s being released. For example, I love guardians 1 and I own 99% of the zavvi lenti re releases but I just couldn’t with guardians 1 because it was just Bad artwork
I buy the occasional re-release depending on what the artwork is like and how I feel about the film. I'm am a little contradictory with this though as I buy The Walking Dead on steelbook even though I think the show is pretty terrible, I enjoy watching mostly because I enjoy criticising it and I'm too invested to quit.

Well MOS is my favourite DCEU film anyway (the best one imo) and I agree that so far Zod has been the best. Shannon played him very well. But Zod is Nowhere near Thanos level though.
I hope Darkseid is a great villain. I really do. But we will wait and see
I have 100% faith in Zack that Ray Porters Darkseid will deliver on all counts, from what I’ve seen so far Uxas is bad ar$e and is going to wreck havoc!
Anyways speaking of this steel what the hell its nothing like Wonder Woman’s actual shield which I’ve seen in real life. Come on Titans of Cult actually try and you might succeed just saying
What did Thanos really do though other than look high and low for a couple of gems and snap his fingers a couple of times? That might make him the jazziest villain but I'm not sure about the best...

Big whoop Feige found a generic formula that guarantees bank good for him, hate to break it to you but Box Office Sales won’t and never will equal what the actual quality of film is like. I for one am very greatful DC has the range of Director Driven Films that are creative visionsary films which have the right tone that suit their characters and stories they are telling. It’s not always about the money that emseeyou fans think that it’s generally about when weighing in for comparison between these two heavyweights.
Just thinking about Aquaman’s third act alone which was so damn freaking epic! just proves we were watching completely different films and CBM well there just not for you.
