I ordered a copy through Amazon UK and it was shipped through UPS in a cardboard mailer. It arrived safely. The cardboard mailer was sturdy enough. I was surprised.

Amazon UK and Amazon USA are using UPS for orders been shipped to USA and from USA to UK/Europe

UPS you get delivery in 2-3 days after order has been dispatched as they have their own fleet of aircraft.
UPS not affected by covid-19

Yeah they only use UPS if you choose Express from US to UK. You can still change speed after order and they will use Amazon Logistics.

All my recent Amazon USA pre orders that had Standard Gobal Shipping UPS was used even when I changed shipping option from priority to standard after I done an order
Dispatch of order can be delayed a few days but I still got delivery in 2 days once dispatched

I don't know if Amazon UK will do the same if you change to standard global for UK to USA but Amazon USA use UPS at the moment no matter which shipping option you use

I ordered with standard mail, so Amazon UK is definitely using UPS for all shipping methods to USA, at least for now.

Majority of my orders from Amazon UK arrive in perfect condition
I only had 3 items in past 5 years that needed to be replaced

I have deliveries from Amazon UK every week sometimes 2-3 times a week
They always use cardboard mailers with my orders and some orders are shipped in box within another box.

It's Amazon USA that I had some items arrive damaged as they use those amazon branded white/blue jiffy mailers
