The funny thing is I would have realized the early start of the GB, too, if I hadn't decided I needed some stupid fresh air before the GB went (supposedly) live (lol). When I got back to the PC, there were like a gazillion notifications and the thread going crazy. I can't even imagine what sort of craziness was going on @apsmith21's dashboard.
Although I was initially bummed I missed out on the DL, I'm calm now. There're sound arguments that speak against the early start of the GB, but then again I agree with @apsmith21, an allocation as little as HDN has obviously received would have resulted in just as many unhappy interested parties if put on sale at the "right" time. Maybe it helps to just think about it like this in order to deal with this situation. (Which actually sounds too grave considering the fact it's only a steelbook and some pieces of colorful cardboard.)

I'm suprised most criticism is directed at the amount of boxsets available for the GB, though. Was there less demand for the single editions or are people just less vocal about missing out on them?

Uuuuuuuuh that was a dramatic last hour that i spent refreshing both HDN and HDZ sites Things went crazy and fast

I stuck with the HDZ site option and after it took me 16min to refresh the page at 5pm (live time in Finland) i finally managed to grab the box set

Those are ridiculously low numbers for a premium GB listing no wonder there are so many disappointed collectors who were hoping to bag a copy of this film.

I had not purchased any other version as I was hoping to stick with HDZeta single/double lenti for my DC collection but that boat has now sailed and I will not be looking at purchasing the Man of Steel edition when that goes live

Really quite not happy with the way things went down today. Had it in cart but couldn't check out. Missed out all together after prioritizing this over Manta edition. Off to you know where to hopefully snag a decently priced copy

Why does a search of Zetas site turn up nothing?

Yet if you search for say, The Green Mile it still shows on the site even though it's been OOS for months. As does every other OOS title (apart from Wonder Woman)

It's really always been like that. Some titles get removed once they are OOS, yet some other titles seem to stay there forever, even though they are long gone

this was possibly the biggest disappointment of a major blockbuster preorder to date.

-no retail links in OP
-no retail links posted in thread
-impossible to search and find on retailer site
-retailer site didn’t work for a huge swath of collectors for the entire duration of preorder
-retailer site worked fine for “some” people who were able to order while others were locked out
-no word from hdzeta on here or social media on wth happened
-links to product pages are now all unicorns that never even existed

i mean honestly... this list sounds like a bad joke. is there anything else that could have made this preorder more poorly run than it was?

shame on hdzeta. i love hdzeta releases and like many of my fellow collectors here, i followed this thread for months in anticipation to secure a boxset. this was horrible.
