What's the GB process like on the other forum and the communication from their mods? I haven't visited that site in a very long time.

Communication is absolutely great so far and the process was easy too, the usual "1 OC to xxx please". But the allocation was waaaaay~ better than HDN, which is why I'm so shocked at how few box sets HDN got. I mean, I went with the other coz after other GBs had opened or were closed already, HDN still didn't even have a date for one so I feared I'd miss out and not have other options, but I didn't even once think, only so few would be available here. I really don't get why HDZ didn't give this site more.

I'm so annoyed this happened! I had time set and took 5 mins out of meeting but then this happened and now I have nothing! Even if allocation was low no excuse to set it early then advertised.
So dissapointed.

Sounds like this release was a bad time. So the GB went up an hour early huh? Zeta’s pulled that before, when Mad Max Black & Chrome went up early. They promised more copies would be allocated to the GB but they never did it. I don’t particularly like how Zeta handles GB on here, no Silver Label release GBs, poor communication, and the website just blows.

To be fair though considering how limited the print run is and how in demand WW is I’m not surprised it was a bloodbath.

Yes, by keeping the GB time the same as it was announced and posted in this thread for over a week. I can't possibly imagine why anyone would have complained about the timing if it was held at the time we were all told to be here well in advance.

Of course, if there were no issues everything would've gone smooth and no complaints. But an issue presented itself and someone had to do something about it. When there is a problem you try your best not to disappoint anyone and fix it but if you cant do so, you do the next best thing. Which is to disappoint the smallest number of people you possible can so that the majority is not disappointed.

Maybe, in the future, HDN not host any GB for HDZeta and let everyone fend for themselves.

You mean bring back the good old days where you have to know your sh!t to buy the edition and if you miss it then you gotta go to the ends of the world to hunt that beast down? Hell yeah! I'm all for it

I was thinking more along the lines of if a change in time was necessary, then perhaps put up a notice in the thread or OP stating that the Group Buy would take place at the same time but on a different day.

Or are the Group Buy copies not reserved for the host and therefore have to be sold within a certain time or they are allocated elsewhere?

Again, most people freed up this time for GB. Changing it to another day means they have to change all of their plans (work, friend, family, etc) so obviously they'd be disappointed even if there was a heads up.
