-impossible to search and find on retailer site
-retailer site didn’t work for a huge swath of collectors for the entire duration of preorder
-retailer site worked fine for “some” people who were able to order while others were locked out
-no word from hdzeta on here or social media on wth happened
-links to product pages are now all unicorns that never even existed

i mean honestly... this list sounds like a bad joke. is there anything else that could have made this preorder more poorly run than it was?

shame on hdzeta. i love hdzeta releases and like many of my fellow collectors here, i followed this thread for months in anticipation to secure a boxset. this was horrible.

Totally wrong, otherwise no one would have gotten any edition,I , as well as some others were able to do find editions .

shame on hdzeta. i love hdzeta releases and like many of my fellow collectors here, i followed this thread for months in anticipation to secure a boxset. this was horrible.

For me the worst aspect was that the HDN GB, after weeks of stating a definite 'Live' time, jumped the gun. Telling members, well you probably wouldn't have got one anyway is really poor PR.

Why do I have a feeling they will re-stock this at random times during the upcoming days / weeks without ever telling anybody.

My advice would be just to keep visiting the site here and there. You may get lucky.

Yes, so many suppliers practice this, certain orders fall through for financial reasons and other cancellations, definitely, check again at random times.

The anger is coming from the GB happening earlier. HDZeta’s website went nuts because the majority of people on here missed out on the GB so I would say the slow performance was expected due to the high demand.

If the GB had happened at the time it was supposed to, the traffic would flow between them both. It probably would’ve been a little less stressful (but still damn hard haha)

If everybody buying directly from the website today only purchased a single copy and not multiples, many more collectors would be happy now. I could have easily purchased more, because for me the website was slow, but still working most of the time.

You were wrong... and judging by what went down here I'm glad I stuck to my decision. I'm not disappointed either way.

I've only skim read through comments but a lot of people appear upset. If anybody can fill me in, I'm a bit confused because for days people were chatting the time it was due to go live at, with a confirmed time, yet it appears it went live an hour earlier than advertised?
So who is responsible for this exactly and what was the reason given?

I understand the frustration of those who missed out, but at the same time I have seen words such as "stress" in waiting for this release?

Stress... really? You gotta be kidding me?
It's a steelbook, not a trip to the doctors!

Life goes on... there will be more and better releases for better films in the future. Hopefully this mistake will not happen again, but I do think a reasonable explanation should be given, if it hasn't already.

It's just sad that it happened in this way. Yes, a moderator could have posted an earlier start time and or delayed it but didn't. They could also have said that do to the smaller allocated supply we are ... But the didn't.

That's why as soon as I saw that everything was unavailable on the GBs, I went to the website.

It took a long time, but I secured a set.

Hopefully, Novamedia and or FAC will do WEA as well so that other won't be left out of obtaining something.

Communication is huge part of a successful buiness.

I don't even see a link for it being sold out on the HDZeta website. Where is it? I assume it's sold out but did people get it from HDZETA directly?
All the other editions that are sold out are on the website so what happened, why isn't it listed?

one thing i've learned from Interstellar buying is, at their homepage click on menu bar HD ZETA EXCLUSIVE -> GOLD LABEL SERIES and it'll bring you to the next page, from there there's drop down menu from A-Z and you can chose your movie title, i chose W last night and it brought me where WW was but at the time there was only box set left... and i can't check out cause it was sold out on process

and yeah...not a good move put the GB an hour earlier.. well lesson learned but one thing i'm sure we all can live without all these...stuffs... well especially when we're gone...lol

I don't understand some posts here from the staff/mods. I remember digitalbabe posted recently about HDN being a civilized community, but then constructive and polite posts of some members here, let them be new or old members, been ignored and criticized...

something being ignored and just not being dealt with immediately are two very different things. I've been very open about having just gotten back from Mondo Con where HDN had an exhibiting booth. I personally clocked in over 25 hours drive time in a Van to haul all the steels and such to this event. So yes I'm not anywhere found today besides my one previous post in this thread to due to the sh!t storm that has happened .... and it may continually look like im ignoring all ... but not cause I want to ... but coming back from such an event has other timely deadlines you must meet .... like unloading everything again etc. I won't even be done tomorrow.

No City in America can claim to be COMPLETELY civilized ... that is the goal of the city .... that is the goal of this Community but that doesn't mean its an easy task to complete. It takes work by EVERYONE. Some people (not you) will like to point out bad apples and make it seem like that is the ONLY representation of HDN but that is furthest from the truth. There are many good people here.

You are only as good as the person next to you, and you will only get out of HDN what you put into it. So if people put in a negative energy, then if your experience is negative then I frankly don't care ... if a person puts in a positive energy then I truly hope they get a positive experience and that is what I work towards on giving them. Energy and Experience are 2 different things ... those who put in positive energy and get a negative experience that too is something I work towards on giving them a positive experience. And the only reason for that is at the end of the day this site is a direct representation of not only myself but many many many individuals and volunteers who work very hard on making it what it is ... and I want all that work to be worth something for them and myself and im definitely not talking monetarily.

Again just for the record not speaking at you , just generalizing for all.

It’s obvious others were aware of this discrepancy but didn’t bother to point it out. Otherwise, why would someone just randomly log in more than an hour early?

The whole think just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I’m going to sell my other DC Zetas and simply go with Manta going forward.

I have visited HD Zetas website 40 - 50 times today of iPad, iPhone and PC and Wonder Woman has not shown up ANYWHERE for purchase. No picture, no price, no info, no link to purchase and nothing to show it is sold out. I don’t understand how some were able to order it. Someone posted a link straight to it but even that link came back with an error message.

Where are people finding it on the website. Every other release is there. Even those that have been OOP for ages.

they came and went through the morning. For some releases they completely disable the listing, like they did in this case.

But DST was Sunday. If someone is still hung over 3 days after, than that's a problem.
