I agree, far better than the first. I do think there were bits of story and subplot that they probably cut out to keep the pace fast, but for me it worked as an action/ adventure spectacle. The monsters were awesome in this one and the effects were outstanding. If you go into this film expecting an epic drama like Gladiator then you will be disappointed. This is action/ adventure with minimal, albeit decent, story. And what it does it does well, IMHO, so will def pick this up or the BBY USA release.

All online retailers show this as being released June 26th: Best Buy, Amazon, HMV (all Canadian) as well as all the retailers in the US.

I bet this one will be released at futureshop on the same day

Isn't this supposed to be a Future Shop Exclusive? If other retailers in Canada are going to be carrying it then what is exclusive about Future Shop selling it?...the artwork will be different perhaps?

If the artwork is the same as other Canadian retailers then hopefully the price should come down quite a bit.

Biscuit meant that the release date for the amaray blu-ray is June 26th for other Canadian retailers. Typically the steelbook would release on the same day, but as of today still showing July 10th in Future Shop system.

Rest assured, this steelbook will only be available at Future Shop in Canada

Since its not a 3D version in the steel I suspect price will drop at-least to $29.99 for release if not $24.99.

Glad were getting this steel. Will be nice to go along with Clash of the Titans which I enjoyed very much.

Sequel was alot better than the first one for me.

It's coming out next month or in Oct? Confused by Price Ends date.
