From what I have been able to gather from my searches, new posters are only allowed 10 posts within a 24 hour period to be able to participate in the group buy? If so, I need 10 more after 11:53am tomorrow. If I post the 10, say, within an hour tomorrow after that time will I get access by tomorrow evening?

You'll be able to access the GB forums right when you hit 30 posts.

Reallly want this.

30 to get in the group buy, 20 to view from what I see. 10 max per day :(

When I reached 20 posts I clicked on the link and got into the group buy notebook thread. I posted a reply requesting 1 copy and indicated my country.

Isn't that the way you get in on the group buy? Or are you saying that my request won't be honored until I reach 30 posts?

Someone please clarify.

That is correct. As a confirmation, you can look for your forum name in the original post. Great job on your first group buy and for posting. Please continue to contribute and participate in all areas of this site.

r3zzy - thanks for helping out.

am I the only one thinking $60 is a lot for a single steel....unsure about this

You must be new to collecting. People regularly pay more than $100 and upwards for a BluFans release after it's sold out.

But other folks are just as happy to wait, with the hopes that this movie will be released somewhere else. There is plenty to choose from, in terms of other movies that are in the steelbook form, that is.

I havent really gotten much into it. Grabbed Batman Begins and Dark Knight both with movie cash for $5 after upgrade and save at Best Buy. That was way worth it. Then I bought a Skyfall UK steel, Batman Begins and Dark Knight JP steel, TDKR steel, and now Django Unchained. I also have a bunch coming in the mail.

I think some of the US release wouldnt be very expensive after Best Buy upgrade and save.

No I think it's a lot of money too.

Yes we know that it will rise in value but unless you intend on selling it doesn't matter. $60 is a lot and not worth it in my opinion. Yes I would to own a rare steelie but I could buy three or four titles I want more with the cash and I'm not going to order one just to scalp. Easy decision for me ;)

Actually, my point was that if you are one of those people that likes the movie and would want the steelbook, if you want this one later, it will cost you more to get it.

So if you think $60 is a lot, then for example most blufans releases have increased in asking price over time.

I know plenty of people that have waited on a release only to buy later at a higher price after they really thought about it.

No need to talk about ebay or reselling, there has been far too much of that by members in these threads of late.
