In and out in 32 seconds. That is one major upgrade to the servers.

All the way through I was expecting something to go wrong but nothing happened. It was so smooth that I keep checking that it does say 'Payment completed' for my order.

Ninja training skills from the past orders paid off. There's always that adrenaline rush and gameface when these limited releases go live.

Scalpers are more annoying than being "scum" or bad people, I have resold from time to time to pay for some college expenses and I don't see why someone's temper tantrum over scalpers should make me feel guilty or go without college books for the semester. No one is going to pay for my expenses, so sometimes it is an easy way to supplement the expensive cost of living these days. The hostility and constant ebay scalper talk thread jacking has caused me to take a little break from posting here. Granted, I don't post a lot as it is, but I definitely notice the "community" feel that attracted me to this particular forum is beginning to dwindle. A lot of people sell steelbooks here, and I have missed out on a lot of steels, but I don't understand how someone could think another person buying multiples to sell is a "bad person". It is an expensive hobby, and sometimes in order to continue to enjoy it some people need a little help financially. Anyways, I'm not looking to argue, and I think the post will get deleted, but the people who are constantly complaining about scalpers non stop need to chill, it is ruining what makes this forum so great.

its an argument that has always been there, and no one is going to win and no one is necessarily right or wrong. Just let it go and continue with whatever makes YOU happy :)

Agreed, I will say that HDN is way better than the other sports forums I post on. People there are just downright insane at times haha.

Missed out as I had something in my cart that I couldn't delete and it took ages to get it out, really disappointed but have ordered the non exclusive as te art is way better than the HMV artwork, fair play to everyone who snagged a copy

Can somebody explain to me what this telephonr-crap is? I also could only put the half of my phonenr. back @ the Her-Pre-Order. And this costs me my steelbook.
Hopefully this should help:
KimchiDVDs phone boxes are odd to say the least, normally (in the UK) I'd enter:
+44 7800 000000 for example.

The only way I could even get the number into the input boxes was to split it like this:
Local Area Code: 4478
Phone Number: 00000000
(There wasn't enough room for a proceeding 00 or + before the 44).

Note: This is on the Modify Your Account page when logged in.

All that happens is that it's printed on the shipping label anyway, won't be the end of the world if it's not formatted correctly as any delivery person with an ounce of common sense should understand what was meant by it.

With some people throwing up numbers thought I would include mine. 2014-10-09 01:00:17

Had to change a couple of things for shipping/gift/merch prices but I got really concerned when I had a pause going to PayPal (all I had was a white screen staring back at me) Thankfully, it did not last very long and I got the steel ordered. Considering how fast this sold out I think I will say that I got lucky that it did not sell out while I was staring at the white screen, though my nerves did shoot way up during that time.

Hoping for something in the top 100 but I highly doubt I will ever beat my 002 copies of the Lenti/FS of CA2 from Nova.

This steel will look real nice being displayed next to them.

Congrats to all who got an order in.

Big props to Kimchi for the server upgrade! The experience for this release is night and day from what it was a year ago! If your prepared you actually have a good shot at reserving a copy! I thought I had taken my time, but I got in @ 1:00:20. Not bad! Hopefully this means a lower # if Kimchi decides to ship them out in order ;)

Now that the server is brilliant
Your going to have quick to get an order in with other highly wanted releases especially if its very limited

This release was not even a true exclusive as the Steelbook itself is available from lot of retailers in Korea except for the
Kimchidvd exclusive Package:
Lenticular slipcover
Character Poster card
Numbering sticker (No numbering card)
Kimchidvd exclusive sticker

Wait till the next true highly wanted exclusive only available from Kimchidvd that's very limited and I can see 2 minutes sold out time been beaten

This sever is great for ordering now but beware you will have to be even more alert for the next highly wanted exclusive release

If X-Men: Days of Future Past is shipped tomorrow I should have it delivered in the next 6 to 7 days based on previous orders using K-Packet

Just out of curiosity, did anyone at all have any issues with server slow down? This was a breeze to order for me, so happy that Kimchi can now give us an ordering experience to match the quality of their releases. The hardest part of ordering from Kimchi now will be just showing up on time for pre-order day, and remembering to log in beforehand.

No slowdowns, all went super quick.

The only odd thing I noticed was when it initially went live, the add to cart button appeared, then disappeared and I had to refresh one more time before it stayed visible and let me proceed through the checkout process.

Does anyone know if kimchi ships our steels based on the shipping address we entered before proceeding to Paypal, or the address on Paypal? Because I forgot to change the shipping on Paypal to match with the one on Kimchi account. So a bit worried about my order now :(
