I bought this blind in a dual pack with 'Will You Be There' just to spread out the shipping cost. I didn't want it at first because when I checked IMDB there were only 10 ratings given with a very low average of 5.6 and not a single critic review at all. So little is known about this movie. Even wiki does not have anything much to say about it.
Now I am so glad I bought it. After watching the movie, I am so surprised and puzzled how little known and little acclaimed this movie is. It is to me a very good movie - well constructed, well paced, well acted and touching. Its overall tone is light tragic-comic but it never strays into farce or melodrama.
This movie must have done poorly in the Korean box office, which is very unfortunate as it would have cut short the potential of writer/director Joon Shin. Such unpretentious movies are rare. I am so glad that Plain Archive recognizes the movie enough to bring it out on blu-ray. I rate it 8/10.
