Your Favourite Handheld Console?

I don't feel handheld consoles receive as much attention as they used to (probably because our phones have pretty much replaced them), although they seemed to be quite popular back in the day.

I was never really a big fan of them myself, and have only owned a Game Boy Color, Nintendo DS Lite, and PSP over the years... all of which I hardly ever played on.

But what's your favourite ever handheld console? And as a side question... which ones have you owned?

Original Gameboy is one of my favourites as I played on it a lot as a kid and it was built to last!


I also really like the Gameboy Micro, its tiny and GBA games look amazing on it! And you get some nice face plates for it too

@Tacozilla I didn't even know that thing existed! It reminds me of the original NES controller, only with a screen. Very cool!

I used to own a lot of them, the Atari Lynx was good but I never owned it. My favourite that I owned was the Sega Gamegear!

Only owned Gameboys and Ds's.My favorite has to be the Gameboy color.It's where i played my Pokemon the occasional Mario.

I still have my Gameboy Advance SP, and i have a VITA, but i rarely ever have time to play either of them. My previous handhelds are Gameboy Color, GBA SP, Gameboy Micro, Nintendo DS Lite, PSP, PSP Go, and VITA. My most favorite ever is the GBA SP.

My first handheld console was the GBA but my favorite has to be the 3DS, i have also a DS, PSP and Vita but the 3DS is the one that i have played the most

Forgot, i guess it technically is a handheld more than a console, i also have a Nintendo Virtual Boy along with all of the games released in the USA, a whopping 14 of them.

It's one of Nintendo's lesser known consoles, due to the fact it came out after the DS, so a lot of people didn't bother getting it as the DS could also play GBA games. The Micro only plays GBA games (it doesn't play GB or GBC games) but its a nice size and has a very nice screen. I have the Famicom version and the Pokémon centre version
