yeah...unfortunately, that is the problem with these toho special effects releases...and they are pricey. then, the collector in me said..."but, these are godzillla blu rays with awesome japanese slips!" so...i bought them

PACIFIC RIM haul!
Just received my Japanese order for PACIFIC RIM today and I'm in love.
The 2D edition, while really sharp-looking, doesn't have a full slipcover. It's more of a weird half-slipcover:
The 3D edition, on the other hand, is absolutely beautiful! It's in a nice, thick, sturdy slipbox and comes with a 36-page booklet + the cards that were included in the SteelBook:

Finally found Superman/Shazam after searching forever for it. It isn't mint, but I am not complaining
So glad Akira got a 25th Anniversary release 
now we can start scoring the original for retail price again. Got mine for $27 shipped Congrats marmup that has to be an eBay record lol I got mine for $18 via 3rd party Amazon a few months ago.
