Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

Hey guys-I've checked with our contacts for you and Zavvi has confirmed that the box manufacturer took longer than expected, and they had a shortage. Those arriving in jiffys should be double wrapped. If yours doesn't arrive that way and you suffer damage, I would continue to customer service. They should have more boxes by Tuesday, and new releases like Toy Story should be shipped in boxes.

I got an 11% discount code, i tested it on about 8 steelbooks they all worked except for The Hunger Games. I think they were X-Men 1+2, Daredevil, Seven, After Earth, Ted, Thor 2. Ill decide what to buy with it tommorow after trip to a closing down HMV.

Got a 12% discount. Re-ordered a couple (Frozen and Aliens) previously ordered without a discount and ordered a couple of additional ones that I was on the fence with.

howie, generally they send these different promotions to customers who have placed orders. However I am sure they have their customer base segmented by various criteria as most retailers do. So not everyone may get codes every time. You could always contact them and ask or check your account to see if there is an 'opt in' to get sales notices. In the US this is common as well-some customers get coupons others do not etc. Good luck!

OK. Finally I found a valid 12% code on a German Web site. Ordered 10 items, therefrom 6 pre-orders (incl. Cars, Frozen and Aliens, will cancel their earlier pre-orders now). I've got a lot of grey hair tonight but alltogether I saved £22.13

Thabk digitalbabe fir info but I got my code but can I put it in to see how much discount then not use it till I order something , also would I be able to cancel some preorders even some that are sold out such as wreck it ralph and boy in pjs and then re order them again with said code as I added it up I've got about £250 in pre orders so even 5% would be £12.50 which to me means goonies steel

I recently received 2 of my steels double jiffy bagged. First it was princess bride and i just thought it was because its near worthless but then i got planes through like it!

Both werent damaged luckily but planes had a couple of dents on the back edge of the jcard which thankfully didnt go through to the steel.

Their box packaging has never failed me and ive ordered maybe 30 odd and all arrived mint. No idea why they would risk jiffys now.

Contacted Zavvi letting them know my Team America had a massive spine slash and I would like it replaced - I hadn't opened it or anything. They've asked me for photographic evidence. That's the first time I've ever been asked to prove myself before returning an item that only needs to be replaced because they sent it out like that

I ordered 2 lone rangers one came fine the other dented contacted them and said its fine just send it back to be replaced

They have agreed to send me a replacement Lone Ranger for the one that did not arrive before Christmas.... look forward to the new one arriving
