Current packaging is a cardboard mailer with the steelbook usually wrapped in either a layer of bubble wrap or foam

I now have confirmation that I can announce ... for all those worried about future packaging from Zavvi. My Play contact has been working with zavvi as well on this mission for better packaging. Between the 3 of us and the future comments from this community after its in place I'm sure it will be go over well.

1/19/2013 Member Nyvo tweeted Zaavi about packaging concerns. They said they may be looking into alternate packaging methods.

Had 2 damaged steelbooks before Xmas so filled in paperwork, got return number and sent together to save then 2 return fees, requested refunds which they ignored and sent a replacement for 1 movie and nothing for the other film, they are rubbish when ur comes to returns!!!

So i noticed a $44.37 charge to my bank account on 01/06/14, as well as a $1.33 for the shipping. I can't find anything in my order list that has recently despatched, and I can't remember receiving any emails last week saying something shipped, just the usual sales crap and some emails about Toy Story being delayed.

Anyone else get a charge last week without explanation? I opened up a ticket with them, so lets see how these goes.

No mate, cancelled every single order with these muppets and deleted all payment methods. I feel much better for it and just knowing I don't have to deal with the morons again is very satisfying. There's been rumour that these muppets are now following HDN members on twitter weird.
 
Send a question to them Dec 25 about 3-4 bd´s they are listing (slipcase or not) and they still haven`t been able to answer me. I have 2 messages with apologies though.
 
All I have to say is wow...
I recently noticed a charge to my bank account for the amount of $44.37 (or roughly £27). I do not recall receiving any emails letting me know a preorder had been shipped.
And I want to know what the charge is for, as I cannot figure it out based on my pending preorders.

Excuse my language, but are you ****ing kidding me? How is my bank going to have an itemized list of what was together on a single charge? Can you not look at my account here and see what I was most recently charged for? And if you can't, please put me through to your supervisor.
 
I just cancelled and reordered Frozen with the 10% off sale. And they have that for the othe other Disney titles as well. Can you get them to apply to existing orders. Because they are sold out and if you cancel it's gone
 
Im extremely pissed off with zavvi right now, they didnt change the release dates for any of the disney ones, so they expect collectors to buy 5 in one day totalling almost £100!

Had to cancel 3 of the 5, simply cant justify that kind of money for 5 blu rays.

Well as it turns out, they have removed the cancellation and put all 3 back to awaiting stock pic!

So they are basically telling me ive got to buy them and they wont cancel, even though they arent even processed yet. If they dare take that money thats it, i will remove everything ive preordered and sever all ties with that piece of crap company.

Does anyone know if removing your payment options in your account affects outstanding orders?

Well i did the sane thing and preorder originally to avoid missing out, as you do, expecting them to spread them out a bit later. Turns out they actually grouped them together more and put toy story 1 and wreck it ralph to the same date as the other 3.

They havent been clear on release dates for any of these and recently they havent had release dates on the product page so im well within my rights to be angry at them thanks.

Now i have to wait probably 3 weeks for a refund due to their ridiculous returns procedure. Awesome!
 
contacted zavvi again about my damaged Pain and Gain steelbook and they claimed they didn't get the pictures I sent them, I def sent them its just another tactic they use to try and get out of refunding people hoping the person will give up after all the BS they get put through by them

I wonder what they will come up with next

FYI, e-tailers like Zavvi, amazon etc don't dictate the release date of products. They recieve, they repack, they ship.

In this case, Disney would be the people to complain to.

Regarding the payment issues, yeah I'd certainly ask about that one. I'd be annoyed if they took money for cancelled orders
 
Since this week I receive Steelbooks from Zavvi in double bubble envelope (sizes D1 + E2). Interesting, if this is temporary or the new packaging policy for 2014? Any experience from you?

I am screwed, aren't I?

I had a payment problem with Wreck It Ralph (I must have preordered it with a credit card with wrong info, but in the meantime I added correct details and ordered other stuff) and resolved it right away using their online resolve form.

This enquiry is about order #33946407.

I received an email that you encountered a paypent problem.

I resolved the problem using the credit card I used just yesterday on another order (35669486) without problems.

But it seems that there is still a problem and you can't fulfill my order.
