I found this online. Anyone else see a trend? Only these released and new releases so far. Hope this is true as these are all releases I'd like to see;

The following films are currently considered as being in the cycle of movies which are subject to the rules of the Disney Vault.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
Pinocchio (1940)
Fantasia (1940)
Dumbo (1941)
Bambi (1942)
Cinderella (1950)
Alice in Wonderland (1951)
Peter Pan (1953)
Lady and the Tramp (1955)
Sleeping Beauty (1959)
101 Dalmatians (1961)
The Jungle Book (1967)
The Little Mermaid (1989)
Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Aladdin (1992)
The Lion King (1994)

Lion King, let it be so :naughty:

the difference is, lion king, snow white, beauty and the beast, sleeping beauty (possibly bambi) have recently gone back into the vault. so i highly doubt we'll see them.

Mentioned a few times previously before but 20th anniversary of Lion King next year and I'll be very suprised if we don't see a release. Especially since it's the highest rated on the poll and many people (including me) really want it :ohno:

^
They do like cracking open the vault on the major anniversaries but I have heard no rumblings among the Disney hard core fans that Lion King is coming out of it any time soon.

Alot of people said this would never come out of the vault for a steelbook. I guess for lion king, we'll just have to wait and see

EDIT - Mistook this for the movie with Mr Depp lol oppsy

EDIT - Bring on Pirates of the caribbean in steel also :scat:

Hoping this one doesn't have minimalistic back art with nothing but a mushroom on it. Dumbo and Lady and the Tramp are still up in the air for me for that reason... I could probably spend those 40 pounds on something I'd appreciate a little more... Like Oz for example.

Can't see the design of this being any different to the others, the back will as you say, be minimalistic. However my money is on the Cheshire Cat being on the back artwork ;)

That's very true. Just checked Peter Pan again as I was sure it was just tinker bell on the back! But yeah you're right the back artwork on that has indeed been designed differently to the rest. Although there's still time for Zavvi to make it more minimalist :p

Don't freak me out like that, man!
