This was announced yesterday and has been causing abit of a stir in the toy community...
And indeed this looks fantastic, the best "Judge" 1/6 figure I've seen

Since being put up for preorder this morning, this has been selling pretty fast (OneSixthBruce already soldout their intial lot EEK!).
There's no direct purchase link, so you'll have to get this at specialist toy retailers.

I grabbed this myself too. My only complaint was one of the gun holster straps snapped pretty easy for me but I don't have a gentle touch so that could be to blame. Love this thing. I'm surprised there aren't many OFFICIAL collectibles for a flick with such a cult following.

I've only just found out about this figure thanks to @Bobthesub photo in the Dredd steelbook thread, and now I want one!

Does anyone know of anywhere that's still selling them? Preferably somewhere in the UK. There's currently a few on eBay, but they're a bit expensive. (n)

It's a bit of a dodgy one, because it's an unlicensed figure the licence holders clamped down on any UK stores advertising them for sale so they were taken down from preorder, some still stocked them but sold them on the quiet (honouring their preorders made before they were taken off the website) so as they are only really advertised as available on eBay, the prices are over double what I paid for mine. Are you on Facebook? There is a group on there for collectors of 1/6 scale figures called 'onesixth scale news and reviews' if you join that there are quite a few folks selling figures, for a while it seemed everyone was selling a Dredd either new or used but mint. Try and get a second batch figure, as the original batch had very pale gold on the shoulders and a lot of folks repainted them (some more successfully than others) the second batch (referred to as Dredd 2.0 on the group) has much better gold on the shoulder armour that doesn't need re painting. Another option is making one yourself, a lot of eBay sellers break up figures to sell the individual parts, you might be able to buy the separate parts cheaper than a complete figure with some savvy auction sniping......

Thanks for all the info mate... it's very much appreciated! I don't own any of these type of figures, so I know very little about them and where to buy them etc., but I'll be sure to do as you suggested. :)

One last question... how much was this to buy from the UK originally?

I grabbed one from a UK stockist before the legal shenanigans so got one for £85

Bargain! :OMG:

I joined the Facebook group you recommended and they've been pretty helpful so far. I was told to contact OSB, which I have done... I'm now just waiting for a reply from them and hoping that they still have some available. :ohno:

I finally managed to get the 2.0 version for £115 from OSB. It arrived the next day, although I missed the postie, so it's waiting for me to pick up. Can't wait to get it! :D

Good to see you managed to get one! Have fun assembling him, it took me quite a while to get him put together, the bendy hands are a bit naff, some folks have swapped them for hot toys batman hands but you lose the wrist computer as its attached to the gauntlet, I've still got the standard bendy hands on, if you have patience you can get them posed realistically and not looking like they have been run over by a steam roller as they were out of the box lol

I picked him up from the post office today and spent about an hour or so fiddling with all the little bits and trying to assemble him correctly... I consider that the fun part though lol. The hands definitely could've been better, but for the cost of the figure, I can live with them. I'm really happy with it overall, and can't wait to display him properly! He's gone back in the box for now... or until I get my new room sorted anyway, which will hopefully be towards the end of the year.
