I noticed that, too, but I assume it's a glitch in the mockup that wouldn't actually carry through to the final. (Especially now that it's been pointed out.)

This is no glitch but intended. It's part of the ship next to Joi in the artwork and the same thing happened with Spiderman: Homecoming where parts of the claws from Vulture have been embossed as well as long as they were within the border bossing line.

That said, voted for #2. Easy choice.

I personally prefer Option 3, it reminds of of some of the best steel I have: LOOPER WEA FAC, Divergent ES, Whiplash WWA First Print...
I just find it gives the steelbook a classy feel, but I know it will probably be Option 2.

I still say glitch, because that ship is waaay in the background, not on the same level as the characters, and not even in sharp-edged focus. No reason for it to be embossed to the foreground.
