Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the 4K restoration of Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It will first be available as part of a limited Blu-ray Combo Pack (BD/Digital HD) Supreme Cinema Series release with an acrylic “Clear Case” cover and a 24-page booklet of rare photos and behind-the-scenes details. In addition, a 4K Ultra HD version available exclusively through Amazon.

Crouching Tiger is one of my favourite films and having a 4K restoration is great news. Unfortunately the Cinema Supreme series with the clear case etc. isn't available in the UK but the 4K blu-ray is bound to be released in Europe at some point in the near future .
